KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES: April 2012
http://joshkallie.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Maverik is growing up so fast and his personality is really starting to show- especially when he "talks" to us! I have been teaching him American Sign Language (ASL) since he was born and he is starting to show an understanding for it. I have always thought ASL was awesome and what better time to learn than together with your new baby! Anyway, the coolest part is how much we (me, Mav and even Josh) are learning together! Signs he knows the meaning of when we sign them, but does not yet do himself-. And t...

KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES: November 2013

A Tiger For Little. No name yet (: Sorry! We started this tradition when I was pregnant with Maverik. His Build-A-Bear is a monkey named George- who just happens to be one of Mav's best friends to this day. Maverik was a great helper and was really excited to make a "Ty-gurr for the baybee mama tummy! He even insisted on carrying his new friend's- little friend out of the store and all the way to the car. There is plenty of room for you in this cute pile up Little Jonesy! KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES: December 2011
http://joshkallie.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Josh, Maverik and I went on a carriage ride in Highland Park to see the Christmas lights and charming houses. Remember what happened last year when we went on this carriage ride with the entire family? This year was our do-over and it was AWESOME! Thank you Bruce, Jerri and Josh for the fun night! Wednesday, December 28, 2011. He was really into drooling all over the wrapping paper. It was a perfect day with my boys! Josh and his stocking. I've decided I want to paint my nails! Yay for new polish! I love...

What Doesn't Kill You. My good friend (also Josh's cousin) aka my cousin aka my one of my sisters who just never shared my last name, posted this video on her blog and talked about how it felt like it described her life right now. I agree. This pretty much sums it up . These lyrics can basically be applied to any situation. I pray we can all find the hope today. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. THAT ARE NOT REALLY TOYS! The cell phone and laptop power cords. Diapers.used or clean. My lobster claw clip.

We had a great Thanksgiving in Dallas with our Jones side of the family! As always our dinner was wonderful and the tablescapes were impeccable! We enjoyed a lovely afternoon at the Dallas Arboretum. The kids especially loved the slide. We met up with Dylan and Julie in Fort Worth at a Curious George exhibit. Not sure who Mav was more excited to see, George or Eloise. My sweet sisters in law and mom in law through me a "cousins baby shower". We participated in the Dallas Turkey Trot 5K. Karim and Chris 2.

KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES: Halloween 2013
http://joshkallie.blogspot.com/2013/11/halloween-2013.html
We had a really fun Halloween season this year. We started our festivities with a trip to the pumpkin patch. Mav loved the hay ride behind the "beeg twak-tour! Then we took our little family of three pumpkins home to paint. Painting ended up being even more fun than I imagined. This is such a fun age! 28 is one of my favorites so far (-;. Then came our ward Trunk-or-Treat. Our littlest guy was the "sun" at the center of the solar system. Mav was an astronaut. And he loved discovering the planets!

KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES: June 2012
http://joshkallie.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
For Maverik's first birthday we decided on a "Shaun the Sheep" theme (from the creators of the Wallace and Gromit cartoons). It is the only thing that will keep Mav's attention long enough for me to load the dishwasher or start dinner. He loves it! This was the table setting. I found a sheep shaped cookie cutter and used it to cut the sandwiches. We made "Ewe" cupcakes. This baby was skillfully crafted by Joshua! It even had a tail! As an Idaho girl I think this is a dang good lookin tater field! We miss...

KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES: The Joneses

Joshua and Kallie met at BYU-Idaho during Josh's final semester and Kallie's second. Josh convinced Kallie to leave her home state of Idaho and fallow him down to his home in "the fake south," thats right Texas- where he began working with his family at Sunburst Shutters! During their two and a half year stint it Dallas they bought and sold a house, moved three times, had a sweet baby boy after one heck of a pregnancy, survived 117 degree summers and fell even more deeply in love. I love your blog! My Da...
