The joys, fears, laughs, and tears of life with Lila. Turning into a Lab. 1 year with the Lemon. June 18, 2009. In just one short year, Lila’s managed to evoke laughter, tears, and fits of rage from her trustful “masters”, and never without ending the day with a smile on all of our faces. Some quick notes about what we’ve learned/dealt with over the year:. 2 She’s proven she loves to swim in Rivers and the Ocean, but has yet to get over the hump of swimming pools. Lila’s almost 1.5 years old, which translates into a 10.5 year old in human years, or so they say. Now, I don’t hang around many 10 year olds but Lila is the only pre-teen I know that weighs 85lbs, enjoys liver treats, goes to the bathroom outside, sleeps 10-15 hours a day, and seems to actually enjoy her parents company. Wednesday, December 7, 2011. They say a lot happens developmentally when a baby hits 15 months - I agree. Teddy is so aware of e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g now and so very curious. He understands a lot of what we say to him (where are your socks? Get your shoes.) and is trying his hardest to master a few more words. He can say bus, nigh nigh, bye bye, socks, baby and he is even trying to figure out how to say Charlotte! He loves to play with cars and is into climbing everything! He's a really happy jolly kid.

Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Teddy took 11 steps today! AND I noticed his first molars coming in. Lot's going on for the little guy! Thursday, October 6, 2011. Teddy has figured out how to stand all alone.he can take 2 steps.before he gets confused and falls back down to continue crawling somewhere. Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Wednesday, June 30, 2010. We did A LOT of driving this summer. We drove from Washington to Hilton Head. Hilton Head to Orlando. Orlando to Hilton Head and finally, Hilton Head to Washington.
