The Unpaid Bar Tab: October 2006
http://theunpaidbartab.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
The Unpaid Bar Tab. Just because the f! S got a library card doesn't make him Yoda! I am really trying to make a couple of points here:. One, it is sad that sports "journalists: (using the term "loosely") think the must take opinions to such extremes to be heard in the current on-demand environment. Finally, there may have to be a new level of loss on the Sports Guy Scale for what happened to the Cardinal fans last night. Just horrible. Oh and the Bear with me pun, was completely unintended. An apology t...

Flicked into the Void: March 2006
http://oojamaflip.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Flicked into the Void. Thursday, March 30, 2006. Demosthenes, Sophocles, and Sisyphus. I was thinking tonight, as I often have in the past, of using this space for some kind of linguistic exercise of trying to write the same thing every night for a week but in a different style, or from a different point of view. I don't know what to start with - a description of my surroundings? A paragraph from a novel or non-fiction piece? Posted by trophywife at 10:36 PM. Wednesday, March 29, 2006. Posted by trophywi...

Flicked into the Void: February 2006
http://oojamaflip.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Flicked into the Void. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. Better than last time. And I shall back up my position by strongly finishing with the next sentence whatever I choose to write. With such an ultimatum, nothing good comes to mind. Posted by trophywife at 10:28 PM. Too little too late. This is not a pattern: tonight I will undertake to concretely verbalized. Posted by trophywife at 4:15 PM. Sunday, February 26, 2006. Posted by trophywife at 9:44 PM. Saturday, February 25, 2006. No slave to mittens. Thursd...

A strange place | Being Here
https://rauerbac.wordpress.com/2010/01/29/a-strange-place
January 29, 2010 at 7:21 pm. Here are a few things that are rolling around in my brain:. Accumulation and accretion, with the world just getting more and more full of things. And then, the passing on, too. Yet, I’m going to put a bit more on before I go out. Wherever that corner is, it’s a strange place. Which I have always hoped would happen in our own country. A new direction | Being Here
https://rauerbac.wordpress.com/2010/12/16/a-new-direction
December 16, 2010 at 1:27 pm. I’m thinking about taking this blog in a new direction. I’ll start with this little lunchtime post. I’ve been imagining what I could do with this fabric for a few months now:. Spring in the Alps from Gorgeous Fabrics. Then, today I was looking at TLo’s post on Monique Lhuillier’s pre-fall collection. And saw this dress:. Images from Gorgeous Fabrics and Style.com. Entry filed under: Inspiration. Rain, progress | Being Here
https://rauerbac.wordpress.com/2010/05/26/rain-progress
May 26, 2010 at 7:29 pm. I’m at home right now because it’s raining, and it has been for several days. Usually I’d be at the frisbee fields, but having gone over there and seen that they were a little more lake-like than is optimal, I found out that our team postponed our game to mid-June. I was looking forward to the social time, and to running around for a bit of exercise. Entry filed under: Architecture. Waking up from hibernation. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Work in progress | Being Here
https://rauerbac.wordpress.com/2011/02/26/work-in-progress
February 26, 2011 at 1:54 pm. I loved Gertie’s post the other day. She is always an inspiration, but what I liked about this post wasn’t so much that it was inspiring, (which it definitely was) but that she made the comment:. I didn’t start my blog until after I turned 30, and I’ve recently been feeling so inspired creatively, like I’m getting closer to what I’m supposed to be doing. When I’m 40, maybe I’ll be even closer. I’m a work in progress, no doubt. Book that I had been renewing from the library!

Waking up from hibernation | Being Here
https://rauerbac.wordpress.com/2010/03/18/waking-up-from-hibernation
Waking up from hibernation. March 18, 2010 at 6:24 pm. Another two part post – some musings on generation divides to follow the life update. It’s funny that I just bought furniture for my apartment, since I’m planning to move. If that move is to somewhere on I-5, I’m good, if not, I’m probably contributing to the awful amount of particleboard in our nation’s landfills. I cleaned a lot this past weekend, and with the organizing and the beautiful weather, I feel a bit like I’m waking from hibernation.

Flicked into the Void: July 2006
http://oojamaflip.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Flicked into the Void. Friday, July 07, 2006. Bars of onion rings, a lock of ketchup. Posted by trophywife at 11:12 PM. Wednesday, July 05, 2006. If we take the labels off we have to keep them. Think of them as the first dishes we start our new life with. They're not perfect, just like us. Posted by trophywife at 10:28 PM. Monday, July 03, 2006. She aches just like a woman. Why should the method matter, so long as it is temporary and relatively harmless? Posted by trophywife at 5:33 PM. Second, for today.

The Unpaid Bar Tab: November 2006
http://theunpaidbartab.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
The Unpaid Bar Tab. Just because the f! S got a library card doesn't make him Yoda! Thanksgiving with the BR's (all of them). At one point, Monica, Allison and I looked up from our relaxed spots on the couch to find ALL of the men cooking or preparing something in the kitchen! It was some sort of wonderful role reversal. We all fawned over Maxine while this whole elaborate, wonderful meal came to fruition. This supposed 16" of snow has really put me in the mood for the holidays. I have become my moth...
