Another Day in Paradise. Saturday, February 8, 2014. Love this little guy! Well…both of them actually. His hair looks kind of light in this picture, but in reality its still kind of dark for one of our babies. We usually have platinum white headed kids by 4/5 months. It will be nice to have a change though! I know Louie is blurry in this photo, but I love H's face! Like, "Seriously mom, she's going to smash me.". Emmy got a new comfy blanket for her birthday! Thursday, June 27, 2013. Link has been sitting up by himself for a couple of weeks now. He's big, but really pretty strong. I guess he has to be to hold himself up - 2 weeks ago @ the drs office he was already 18.5 lbs. I'm reluctant to stop using the infant car seat because he's finally sleeping in it sometimes. Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Link isn't thrilled about vegetables so far. A couple weeks ago he snatched some spinach off of my plate and I intercepted it right before it made it into his mouth. Monday, May 30, 2011. This is a very, very, very long post. But there is a good reason it is so long. Because it is about what can only be called "basically the most awesome vacation ever". This year I canned:. 21 quarts of Salsa (with tomatoes from my garden, but not peppers and onions.they didn't do very well). 34 quarts of applesauce (from my friend's orchard. Thank you, Andrea! And 20 quarts of apples for pie (the kids loved helping me with the apple corer-peeler-slicer). The kids enjoyed eating the apple peels,. As well as snitching from the finished sliced apples. 24 quarts of marinara (also from my garden). Here are my recipes for salsa and marinara:.
