Whitney Writes...: November 2015
http://whitneybauer.blogspot.com/2015_11_01_archive.html
Wonderings.Worship.Wishes.Wits.Whatnot. Wednesday, November 25, 2015. Graeme is 20 months old! Even when time seems to drag pregnancy-wise, the time it takes Graeme to turn another month older flies by. On Monday he turned 20 months old and somehow we are just four months away from his second birthday. I feel like I JUST planned his first birthday party! And I feel like he will turn two before I can even blink. At his birthday party! If this is our future.we are clueless. One new word every day. He s...

Whitney Writes...: Graeme turns two
http://whitneybauer.blogspot.com/2016/03/graeme-turns-two.html
Wonderings.Worship.Wishes.Wits.Whatnot. Sunday, March 27, 2016. Where do I even begin? My little firstborn is not so little anymore. In fact, he's grown from 8 pounds, 6 ounces to 30 pounds, 2.5 ounces. Even more astounding is that he's gone from 20.5 inches to 37.5 inches (he's always flying right off those charts for his height! And still does his fair share of crying too! It's hard to believe that he wasn't even walking at his first birthday. He's changed and learned so much in a year. Given up all bo...

Whitney Writes...: April 2016
http://whitneybauer.blogspot.com/2016_04_01_archive.html
Wonderings.Worship.Wishes.Wits.Whatnot. Monday, April 18, 2016. Adventures in potty training. When I was pregnant with Maisy I thought to myself how nice it would be if Graeme was potty-trained before she arrived. Well, I'm sure it would have been nice. But it didn't quite work out that way. I knew it was definitely not the end of the world to have two kids in diapers for awhile and when he was ready and I was ready, it would happen. We would *face palm* and say, "No, Buddy, pee pee goes in the potty!

Whitney Writes...: December 2015
http://whitneybauer.blogspot.com/2015_12_01_archive.html
Wonderings.Worship.Wishes.Wits.Whatnot. Thursday, December 10, 2015. Second pregnany vs. first pregnancy. Today is a bit strange for me. It's Thursday. Graeme and Penny are with my parents for the day. Aaron is working. And someone else is deep-cleaning my house right now. (Merry Christmas to me! The Christmas shopping is done. Maisy's room and clothes are ready. We have some newborn diapers. The hospital bags are packed. The infant carseat is installed next to Graeme's seat in the van. With Maisy, I wil...

Whitney Writes...: October 2015
http://whitneybauer.blogspot.com/2015_10_01_archive.html
Wonderings.Worship.Wishes.Wits.Whatnot. Wednesday, October 21, 2015. We are just 72 days away from our due date (which also means there are only 72 days left in 2015! I will be 30 weeks pregnant on Friday. This pregnancy has mostly gone by a little faster than my pregnancy with Graeme, but I still feel like I have been pregnant. But some days I think my ears will fall off from hearing "Momma" one more time. He just says it over and over with nothing else to go along with it a lot of times. Ha! Last Tuesd...

Outside the Creek, TNG: Warning: A snake was harmed in the making of this story.
http://outsidethecreektng.blogspot.com/2011/05/warning-snake-was-harmed-in-making-of.html
Outside the Creek, TNG. Monday, May 23, 2011. Warning: A snake was harmed in the making of this story. Do you remember that parental instinct that adults (even non-parents) have to fling their arm in front of a child (or any other person riding in the front seat) when the car in front slams on its brakes? Well that same instinct kicks in when that same parent sees a snake stretched across the driveway. Here's your play-by-play:. Um, Daddy, you need to kill that snake! No, honey, it's just a black snake.

Whitney Writes...: six months in and we're doing fine

Wonderings.Worship.Wishes.Wits.Whatnot. Thursday, July 28, 2016. Six months in and we're doing fine. I have been itching to get an update on the blog about the two little ones that keep me from having time to blog. Ha. (I don't really blame them.entirely! It's been a couple of months, and I have to agree it's mostly true about what they say how the second child is not quite as "well-documented." I do give myself some. To try to make up for it a little bit, here's some updates about our Maisy girl. We've ...
