We dressed up in slightly Halloweeny normal clothes - skeleton shirt and jack-o-lantern bandanna for him, Jack Skellington shirt and big dangly monster earrings for me and went to the Asian market to get some groceries. We each picked out a weird food item to have as a trick or treat - we werent sure which it would be! And definitely new and different, which is always fun. And certainly better than the durian wafers we tried last time. Blech, durian. Happy Halloween, everyone!

Feb 27th, 2012. This week is my last week at NIKSUN (née Sandstorm). Two weeks from today I start at Endeca in Kendall Square, which just got eaten by Oracle. Got Aaron and myself gift certificates for a mushing lesson with Hilltown Wilderness Adventures as a Chanukah present, and we finally managed to schedule that for this weekend. Then Marla gathered us around 3 sleds and showed us all of the parts of the sled and harness, and taught us the voice commands that the dogs use. Theres hike! Back in California - dancenerd. May 25th, 2008. 05:29 pm - Back in California. After two days in the U-Haul truck, I am back home. (Well, not quite my home yet, but home in all the ways that count. I get back into my own place in another week.) I can't believe the weather. It had gotten really hot and humid in Austin. It's so nice to be back on the West Coast.
