Life and Times of the Pharmacist: September 2009
http://melissawilkins.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 10, 2009. Look at me go! Two posts in a row! See this effort pouring through! The people we went with before now all have kids, and almost everyone else we know in Tucson has kids, so we just figured we'd go by ourselves. I even made Daved take me to Walmart at 11PM on Friday to pick up a few things to camp. Then, I looked a little closer at the weather, saw thunderstorms expected at three different times, and decided maybe this wasn't the best idea. Then we got to meet up with our gr...

Life and Times of the Pharmacist: September 2008
http://melissawilkins.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Our boy George came to live with us on Saturday. Daved and I were both supposed to go pick him up from the breeder's house which is just outside Wickenburg, roughly 3 hours from Tucson, but I got called in to work on Saturday so Daved went by himself. He is even cuter than I remembered! He only wimpered a bit, and we had to let him out to go to the bathroom 3 times during the 9 hours we were in bed, but that was much better than him crying for an hour! I got a start date!

Life and Times of the Pharmacist: Curious George Goes Hiking
http://melissawilkins.blogspot.com/2008/12/curious-george-goes-hiking.html
Sunday, December 7, 2008. Curious George Goes Hiking. For those not from Tucson, this place is about 20 minutes from our house and quite beautiful. It's especially nice during monsoon season and in the spring because all of the pools and creeks are full of water, so it definitely doesn't feel like you're in AZ anymore. Oh my gosh, I'm SO homesick. Please go hiking again just for me. December 11, 2008 at 8:48 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life and Times of the Pharmacist. A Season of Change.

Life and Times of the Pharmacist: August 2008
http://melissawilkins.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Some reasons why I cannot work in retail forever. Definition of retail pharmacy: Working in a community pharmacy dispensing medications: ie, Walgreens, Walmart, Target CVS. In one day I experienced the following:. 1 Man shaking dollar bills at me as if I was a stripper and literally groaning trying to get me to help him. 2 Woman stepping in front of three people in line, with all of us obviously busy helping other people, yelling "Will someone help me please! This just does NOT ...

Life and Times of the Pharmacist: What I've Been Up To...
http://melissawilkins.blogspot.com/2010/08/lets-see-here-right-after-i-posted-last.html
Tuesday, August 17, 2010. What I've Been Up To. One of the best parts was that when we went home, we had the same weather as the mountain! Typically, coming home from the mountains (or California) in the summer is terribly depressing when you step out into the freaking hotness of Phoenix or Tucson. Not here! I've been bombarded with baby showers over the last 2 years, so I'm so excited to start some new wedding extravaganza! Next up for me is a work trip to Chicago next week. I'm not looking forward ...

http://melissawilkins.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 7, 2008. Our Sunday School had a Christmas party on Friday, and Daved and I took it upon ourselves to make it an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest. My outfit was fantastic. It was complete with:. 1 Jingle bell necklace, ring, earrings, and bracelet. 2 80's green mom pants. 3 Lovely Christmas sweater-vest. 5 80's leather belt. 6 Sparkly santa hat. 7 Ho ho ho socks. This one should be our Christmas Card. HA! But I think we put them on backwards. Curious George Goes Hiking. A Season of Change.

Life and Times of the Pharmacist: November 2008
http://melissawilkins.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 13, 2008. I love Jury Duty! So, I ended up getting picked which I was very excited about! I got to be in the jury for three full days which I felt like I was playing hooky from my job. Turns out, the case was a "he said, she said" which stemmed from the man moving out of his girlfriend's house and he decided to take his big TV with him. They were like 60! What a nice vacation! Drive-Thru Pharmacy is NOT fast food! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Life and Times of the Pharmacist.
