Monday, August 31, 2009. First day of school! OMG, Riley started preschool today. I can't believe it. She's such a big girl! She asked for French braids! Funny thing, they were still there, in perfect shape, when I picked her up (her hair never usually stays in the same 'do' for more than 5 minutes)! Wednesday, October 22, 2008. We moms always do it up. This year, we met at Ketch Joanne's again, as per Jen's recommendation last year, and it was just as yummy. Monday, January 11, 2010. The whole Christmas vacation was a whirlwind. There were so many activities, and it flew by so quickly, Riley looked like this (and so did I) a lot more than I'm used to! Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Serious bonding with daddy. Well, I'm finishing day 9 of being sick and quarantined from my family. Thank God Russell is such a wonderful dad and hubby, and my friends are so thoughtful. Russell took 3 days off last week and spent all weekend with Riley; they've had more 'date nights' than I can imagine (Riley's started asking for 'date night with daddy at Beach Chalet! So funny, after a jaunt to the playground Russell said, nearly out-of-breath, 'Whoa, she climbs EVERYTHING!

Sunday, July 26, 2009. We're back. with another birthday! Well, the daddy/Riley birthday isn't for another week and a half, but we had the party early in hopes for better SF weather. No go.
