Scribble Ink Cafe: Kitchen Inspiration
http://writer4rent.blogspot.com/2009/04/do-you-hear-that-in-case-you-cant-make.html
Story Collection on wifeology, mommyhood and blowing bubbles. Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Do you hear that? In case you cant make it out- that is the sound of my husband warming up the table saw. And it takes a lot of inspiration to get him to start warming that thing up. I mean, I can ask him for weeks to start something creative for me, which could turn into months, unless, I’ve now learned, he is given a picture of the finished product. And here it is folks. If you decide to use Layla. Thanks for checki...

Scribble Ink Cafe: January 2010
http://writer4rent.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Story Collection on wifeology, mommyhood and blowing bubbles. Sunday, January 17, 2010. Hubby and I have a 7 year old boy. This weekend we “hit” on a topic that we don’t seem to agree on, and I want your opinion. It’s a question that we parents with boys have all asked ourselves. What do we tell our son to do when another boy hits him? My husband is of the “Hit him back” school of thinking. But he also went his whole adolescence without a single brawl. What are your thoughts? I would especially love it i...

Scribble Ink Cafe: Patio Magic
http://writer4rent.blogspot.com/2009/06/patio-makeover.html
Story Collection on wifeology, mommyhood and blowing bubbles. Monday, June 29, 2009. Well, since we all like home makeovers, I thought I’d share my newest creation. Behold, our new and improved back porch. This little 10x10 space needed some sprucing up this summer. Over at Lettered Cottage for this fabuloso idea. Cost: $20 for two 8ft drop cloths. Bonus: they are water resistant so perfect for outdoor use. I bought the rods at Target as well as simple black clip rings to hang them with. My mom is always...

Scribble Ink Cafe: Eye Level
http://writer4rent.blogspot.com/2010/01/eye-level.html
Story Collection on wifeology, mommyhood and blowing bubbles. Monday, January 11, 2010. My anniversary and New Years come hand in hand, like a gay couple gallivanting through a poppy field. They skip past me down the yellow brick road. I usually shout something like, “Hey, what are you, running in circles? I saw you two last year, and what are you always so happy about anyway? Until it occurred to me that the boy in the 'work station' next to mine, was my husband. When his eyes wandered up and connec...

A little girl's hobby. The story in my head. About my other blog. Monday, July 13, 2015. You will know my name. Okay, it may not ever be on a New York Times best seller list, but someday it will be in a bookstore. I was scrolling through Facebook today, when I noticed an article. Shared by a friend. Good-to-know stuff about the Christian fiction market. While reading the article, I noticed a link in the sidebar to this one: Five Reasons Why You May Never Get Published. Apparently, that is not the typical...

becoming an author... my journey: a little girl's hobby
http://www.lillianrobinson.com/p/little-girls-hobby.html
A little girl's hobby. The story in my head. About my other blog. A little girl's hobby. I have loved reading since I was a small child. Books were my prized possessions. I just recently passed some of my books on to my grandchildren, old paperbacks from my elementary school days. A Pony for the Winter was a favorite. It was given to me by my teacher. Here is one of my favorite poems I wrote so long ago. Sitting on a mountain top. Watching all the children play. You think they would find time to stop.

A little girl's hobby. The story in my head. About my other blog. About my other blog. In my mid-forties, I married a guy whose dream was to live in the country. We found a site outside of town, but close to everything, and with enough. Room for the grandkids to roam. We built a house and moved Hubby's. Folks in with us. We started collecting animals and raising our own food. With two families under one roof, a field full of grandkids, cats, a dog, horses,. And searching for a new place to put down roots.

Here and There and Everywhere: Yay for regular maintenance!
http://crazycrishereandthere.blogspot.com/2014/08/yay-for-regular-maintenance.html
Here and There and Everywhere. Odds and Ends, Random Thoughts, Funny Observations, picked up from Here and There and Everywhere. Yay for regular maintenance! It's a good thing mandated regular maintenance exists. Or the surprise I got this week when the hot water heater guy came by could have been MUCH worse later down the line. I mentioned that it didn't seem to be working well, not heating as much, trouble starting sometimes cutting off (in the middle of a shower! That is one awful mess, and I think it...

Here and There and Everywhere: Who?
http://crazycrishereandthere.blogspot.com/p/who.html
Here and There and Everywhere. Odds and Ends, Random Thoughts, Funny Observations, picked up from Here and There and Everywhere. Who am I and where do I come from? Good question, no simple answer. I'm a mongrel. Don't really feel like I'm from anywhere in particular. Born in Panama of a Spanish mother, an American (as in U.S. of A.). Which sent me to the Antarctic to study plankton. I'm a zany green-eyed redhead so once upon I time I might have been burnt at the stake as a witch. Beware of gingers! I've ...
