Scott helped, until he left. If I could have stayed, I still would have lost Grant and Jen to Winterset. Laramie is the same. Almost everyone is gone. A few friends are left in both cities. But you really can't go home again.

I trust Jim Butcher, but I am dedicated to the Dresden books. Let's see if lightning can strike twice. August 31st, 2014 02:56 pm (UTC). Netflix is your friend . I wouldn't call it 'binge' viewing, but I can watch two episodes a night, most nights, till I'm done a series. And the Codex Alera is pretty darn good.

My cat died tonight - Subversive element:. Jan 15th, 2015. My cat died tonight. He was my cat and now he is gone. He was six. It was probably hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. So, not much I could have done. It doesn't make me feel any better. January 30th, 2015 10:38 am (UTC). I had some time to get used to the idea of the loss. While sad, I think it may have been better for us.
