The little things . Bits and pieces from our life. Thursday, January 22, 2015. Erin at the beach. Just watching her today. my little girl, days away from starting big school! I am so excited for her but also sad , i don't want to let her go. She didn't stop the whole time we were down there today. She jumped in the water, then spent a good half an hour making her "art installation" from sticks and things she found. Then showed me how good her handstands are . The little things . Bits and pieces from our life. Monday, February 24, 2014. To be honest it's not a phrase we use often as it makes me visualise hideous Disney itchy costumes! But Erin was invited to her pre school friend Juliet's Princess birthday party and it was gorgeous. no Disney-ness about! I of course make her costume. i recently got a free box of beads ect which we put to great use.Erin actually designed the flower brooch! She chose her colours and helped with the design too! The "art in the park" fete is our schools biggest fundraiser.They only do this every two years so we have been dying to be part of one! I remember the year we moved here we went up to see it and we both thought what a great little school. even though with a 1 year old it seemed so far away.but here we were watching our big boy perform on stage! At 6pm my sensible parents offered to take Alex and Erin back to their place so i could catch up with Karen F for a coffee! The coffee was soon forgotten and we ran like crazy creatures on the jumping castle! I don't think i have laughed as much as i did in that ten minute block! I actually felt about 5 years old!
