Finalist Evolo Skyscraper Competition 2011. Collaboration with Wendy Teo Boon Ting). Landscape, topographical variations, pockets performing different functions. To integrate the city with nature the proposal replaces the existing buffer wall with a landscape that responds to different levels of water. The porous fabric that contains the water creates pockets in the landscape that perform in an environmental and aesthetic way.

Floral Pavilion - Linda Hagberg

Collaboration with Wendy Teo. London, UK and Ljubljana, Slovenia. Full-scale Installation to be built 2012. This project is examining an experimental structural system that results in a continuous transparent skin, not differentiating the wall from the roof. The radiating cell network of the pavilion varies in size and depth of its components to create a gradient pattern of more or less dense areas of the skin.

RIBA WCCA Travel Award 2010. KPF/AF Award Shortlist 2011. Published in RIBA Education Yearbook 2011. Exhibited at Architecture Foundation 2011. Project Published in RIBA Library 2011. Caracas, Venezuela and London, UK. With a view over the centre of Caracas, the site includes the main circulation path of the La Ceiba hill and surrounding valleys. It starts at the top of Barrio La Ceiba, by the La Ceiba Metrocable station and leads down towards San Agustin del Sur and Parque Central.

Is a Swedish architect/designer, currently based in London. She has recently completed her Master in Architecture at Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, London, and has previously studied at RMIT, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and Westminster University, London. Her work has been exhibited at Stockholm Furniture Fair, Foundry Gallery and Architecture Foundation and she has won awards including RIBA WCCA Award and finalist in Evolo Competition.

Environmental Boundaries - Linda Hagberg

The first part of the project seeks to challenge the traditional notion of boundary as a static surface or edge condition. It investigates the boundary as a transitional mode, based on shifts of environmental conditions particularly humidity. The shift of environment is manifested through materials changing properties according to their surrounding climate, particularly transparent material becoming reflective or translucent.

Inspired by the natural patterns of driftwood, the design of the furniture resembles the gradual collection and layering of wood found on shores and beaches. Driftwood [wood that has been washed ashore by winds, tides and waves]. After being laid out, CNC-routed, sanded and lacquered, the individual pieces are assembled according to the number and location of each piece....
