Here is my first time attempting to replicate the look of underwater flora. I used Maya and After Effects. Messed up Depth Pass. Here is what happens when I accidentally output the wrong depth pass in Maya. If you look closely, you will see that the depth pass does not line up properly with the original diffuse. I have been playing with SSS a lot lately, so I thought I would apply the SSS effect on these little flowers. I’ve only started on the petals, trying to focus on a delicate yet firm leaf. I haven’t touched the stems yet!

Weather conditions during the summer are usually good with temperature around 20-25 degrees Celsius. And yes, swimming in the sea is possible and quiet nice as there is no tide at all and the water is barely salted - it really feels like swimming in a lake! You can check the various activities available during your stay on the Hanko Tourism Office.
