Happenings of The Lindquists. Asymp; 2 Comments. For a while we have been wanting to take a field trip for family home evening to the temple. Tonight was the night. It was a beautiful day today and a perfect night to go see the temple. Yesterday I told Ben about the things that happen in the temple. So I thought we would follow up my little lesson with dinner on the grass out front and a little family time. The boys posing for a picture in from of the “little water” as Scooter called it. She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer back in June and passed this morning. When she found out, we (Me, my kids, my mom, my brother Ryan, my sis Meliss and her kids, Jinny and her two girls Angie and Kimber) all got together in Murray park. Jinny told us what had happened. Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Finding Beauty, Finding God. I need to seek out and discover beautiful things. I received that counsel in a blessing given to me by my father, after Charles died. I was advised to look around me, and be full of joy and gratitude for the wonders of the world - if I can do that, I will feel happy and close to my Heavenly Father. (Good advice for everyone. Oh, how I love it! It has really helped me see the wonders of the world - God's creations - more clearly. Are we capturing it?

He is our baby number 4. Henry was born with 4 kidneys. (Basically 2 kidneys, with 4 compartments, and 4 tubes.) He had surgery at birth to remedy one of the problems (a cyst), and now he is awaiting the verdict if he will need surgery. The doctor keeps waiting, because she wants him to be older to operate. August 18, 2015. About 20 years ago, I worked at a steel service center in Portland, Oregon as a CAD/CAM Plasma operator. It was lunch time and I was talking with a fellow worker. The lunch room was fairly crowded, with maybe 15 other coworkers. I don’t exactly remember what I was telling him (its been 20 years LOL), but I was just sharing the Lord. Christ can not only calm the sea and the wind, but He can calm a room into complete silence. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. August 10, 2015.
