Unbelievably Blessed...: January 2011
http://elysialabita.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
My attempt to lay things out as I see fit. Posted by Elysia and my James. Links to this post. The real reason I came back on here is to document my new journey in diet/exercise and a healthier lifestyle in general. After I had James, I lost the weight relatively steadily, but have been plateaued for over a year now. I'm ready to feel better about myself. Until next time. (and it won't be a year, promise! http://elysialabita.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
My attempt to lay things out as I see fit. So, I'm obviously not great about keeping this thing updated. I'll blame it on the child, a busy life, and me being lazy. So we have some news, that pretty much anyone who reads this will already know. I'm pregnant with Baby 2.0. I'm currently 16 weeks 2 days, due on December 26th. Here is the background up to this point:. Bloodwork on 4/17 (10DPO) - 40. Bloodwork on 4/19 (12DPO) - 97. Bloodwork on 4/25 (18DPO) - 2188. I'm getting very excited. Links to this post.

Unbelievably Blessed...: Time for Me to take a Hard Look.
http://elysialabita.blogspot.com/2011/07/time-for-me-to-take-hard-look.html
My attempt to lay things out as I see fit. Time for Me to take a Hard Look. I went to counseling yesterday. For the first time. I went once in college right after Dad died. It was a grad student who asked me a list of questions and looked uncomfortable when I cried. I didn't go back. Of traits, but a few really stick our to me. We became approval seekers and lost our identity in the process. We get guilt feelings when we stand up for ourselves instead of giving in to others. Those that know me know that ...

Unbelievably Blessed...: June 2011
http://elysialabita.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
My attempt to lay things out as I see fit. Most days I can forget that suicide plays such a large role in my daily life. Most days I can think about my Dad fondly and block out the fact that he left me. By choice. Most days, the anger isn't here. Today is not one of those days. Why is our culture so effed up that people with serious depression issues feel like they can't talk to someone for fear of being viewed as week? Posted by Elysia and my James. Links to this post. My attempt to lay things out as I see fit. I'm already knee deep in adorable baby girl clothes and I'm so thrilled. Jimmy and I would have been happy either way, but we're ecstatic to have one of each and I'm really excited for Jimmy to finally understand what it's like to have a little girl in his life. Our anatomy scan was. I'll work on getting better about pics. No promises. ;). Posted by Elysia and my James. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Elysia and my James. View my complete profile.

Unbelievably Blessed...: August 2012

My attempt to lay things out as I see fit. Speaking of toddler, I got an email the other day that said "Your Preschooler" so apparently toddler is no longer the correct verbiage. Makes me want to SOB. My little boy is 3! How the heck did that happen. Funny story from my 3 year old:. I was leaving for ASU the other day to start with recruitment preparation. James gave me a hug and then hugged my belly and said, "Bye baby sister! He then reached up and grabbed my left boob and said "Bye other baby sister!

Monday, June 30, 2008. This last weekend Eddie and I decided to take a little vacation to Portland. We had a great time shopping, walking, shopping, people watching and shopping. We stayed at the Paramount hotel downtown which was really nice. Right across the street from Nordstrom so that was perfect for me! We had plans to go maybe rafting or frisbee golfing, but it was so hot there! On Saturday it was over 100 degrees, so we shopped instead. All in all it was a fantastic little vacation! Eddie has bee...

Wednesday, April 15, 2009. Vancouver BC Vacation- Day 4. Today was our last day in Vancouver! Our train was leaving at 5:00 pm, so we still had a full day to hang out. So what did we do, shop shop and shop some more! Nothing wrong with that! At the end of our trip, Eddie and I noticed just a few differences about Canada compared to the U.S:. 1 Eddie could hear that they all have accents, I only noticed it once, and I am pretty sure he was Australian. So, I don't think that counts. Barely any to be seen!
