https://lindsayjreid.wordpress.com/2015/01/12/storm-front-by-jim-butcher
LJ Reid – Books. You are never idle if you are reading. 8220;Storm Front” by Jim Butcher. I bought this book for my husband. It is not something I would normally read. My boss recommended the series as something that might appeal to my husband. I read it before my husband. I am sure this is breaking some kind of book readers etiquette. I finished it. I liked it. The premise, story and hero were all interesting enough to hook me and keep me reading to the end. Something to read on a beach. January 12, 2015.

Being in the classroom. Reflecting on teaching and learning. Resolutions and all that…. January 12, 2015. January 12, 2015. It has been a long time since I’ve posted. Too long, one might suggest. A colleague said to me at the end of last year, “You know, we advise our students on how to write, all the time. We should practise what we preach! 8221; I agree. Ah, rambling again. I do that. So, what to write about? That said, I do get enormous pleasure from reading books related to my work and study. I l...

To continue on from my last post on this issue, I wanted to look at. How do each of these theories align? There are some clear overlaps/similarities. I also want to touch on what these ideas might look like in my classroom, and what I see as some of the biggest benefits for my students. But first, a bit more on thinking skills:. It is also...

Being in the classroom. Reflecting on teaching and learning. Teaching Literacy – Week 1. June 13, 2012. June 13, 2012. What is your initial response to the focus question: Isn’t spending time teaching literacy just a distraction from my core disciplinary business? Hundreds of pages pages pages for words. April 7, 2015. I figured the best way to answer most peoples questions was to write a blog post, something I haven’t done in MONTHS.
