We left money with Cesar to take 6 loads of water to the communities in the next several days. We need to return to these two communities to provide food and shelter.

Friday, September 10, 2010. New Lens Means Torture for the Dog. After much bribery, the dog was finally still for 5 seconds while I took his picture. My new lens is a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 Prime lens and it is soooo different than the EF-S 18-55mm, f3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens that came with my camera. It is going to take some getting used to. Sunday, August 29, 2010. We did not follow our menu very closely last week! So, let's try again! Sunday - Chicken Skillet Mess (from last week). Monday - Sloppy Joe's (class night so Hubs is making Manwiches! Tuesday - Grilled Chicken Salads. Wednesday - Chicken Casserole or I'll pick something up since it is my birthday! Thursday - Grilled Chicken with Sweet Potatoes and other random pantry items. Friday - Out. We will probably pick up groceries for the long weekend and grab something easy.

Sunday, September 12, 2010. I have learned from working with kids that you snap as many pictures as possible. Not every pictures is going to be ideal for family framing because kids are active, fun, and very opinionated little people. Last weekend I spent a couple of hours with a group of kiddos.all of whom I absolutely adore. These kids are hilarious and I captured some pretty crazy moments. Here are some outtakes. Sunday, September 12, 2010. Bobby and I were excited to attend the first game of the 2010 season. It was a beautiful day and ended with a great victory over San Jose State. We were excited to see the Walk of Champions which featured statues of Alabama coaches with national championship victories. Coach Bryant's wall was full of years!
