I expected her to be a bit nervous on her first day but I was wrong. She jumped out of the truck and ran to meet her teachers. All I got was a quick wave goodbye and a "I love you, Mom! Matt and Stacy Compton Family. Friday, June 1, 2012. Our blissful days of living in Omaha are rapidly coming to an end. We are on to a new adventure in the blistering heat of Tucson Arizona. Our orders are to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and we will arrive there sometime in the beginning of July. We might be able to take a detour to Utah for a few days to celebrate the 4th of July AKA my birthday,. I am excited that I don't have to pack the whole house myself this year, the AF is going to pack us up.
