Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Here is Lindsey on her first day of first grade. She had a great first day and didn't even cry at drop off. Mom of course was holding them back! I did lose the battle on the first day of school outfit. I wanted her to wear a pretty dress and she insisted on the "Girls Rule Big Time" shirt. Oh well, we as Moms know we have to pick our battles. I would LOVE to have that weather back right now! We stayed at the Wilderness and had a great time! The girls loved the outdoor water slides, especially the one pictured towards the bottom. Friday, November 6, 2009. Happy Belated Halloween from the Candy Corn Witch and Minnie Mouse! That looks like a lot of candy, but we had 184 trick or treaters this year, we needed almost all of it! We went with a bunch of neighbors again this year and had a blast. The girls were so fast this year. They made it to about 50 houses within an hour! Jon and I enjoyed a fantastic date day in Minneapolis recently. We started out the afternoon by walking around the Farmers Market near the Guthrie and Mill City. We enjoyed great music, some yummy food, people-watching and just perusing and holding hands. After this we headed in to the Guthrie Theater to see "Dollhouse," which was such a treat.
