But no fioX device found in /dev/fio* ( ls /dev/fio ). Lspci grep -i fusion. 42:000 Mass storage controller: Fusion-io 2001 (rev 04). 45:000 Mass storage controller: Fusion-io 2001 (rev 04). But when it is restarted all instances IP's are changed and a manual step to update configuration is required. There are lot of people trying to solve this more or less smart way. Using VPC is one of good solutions. But there is a elegant one available:. Exapark Server Discoverer Service. Host name is determined from instance TAG "NAME". Links to this post.
