Sunday, September 28, 2014. Montpelier Farms, the MD Wee-Sale, and Acclimating to the New Area :). This weekend we met up with the Alexanders and went to Montpelier Farm. We shopped the farm store, enjoyed a nice hay ride, played in a corn pit, bounced on bouncy houses, rode the grain train, raced some pedal karts, had a picnic, and gathered some pumpkins (which we carved at home and then roasted the pumpkin seeds and ate! Sunday, December 21, 2014. Had to slip in one more post before Christmas ;). This weekend we headed to Virginia and visited Hidden Pond Nature Center. It was a very nice place, lots of walking trails, a nifty little pond with bridges, a nice playground, and a very nice (small) nature center. Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Snow, Igloos, and Polar Bears (not really, but it has been cold! Addisyn is in her second season of cheerleading at the Youth Center here on base. Here is her team photo. Caleb and his sweet little cousin, Riley, riding in the wagon behind Kari's bike :). He loves riding his bike. Kari and I took Addisyn, Caleb, Cayden, and Natalie to the National Aquarium in Baltimore yesterday! The traffic is very scary in downtown Baltimore (yikes! But it was well worth it for a fun day!
