Adventure is Out There. Wednesday, April 1, 2015. I love all the mosaic floors that are everywhere and Sepphoris did not disappoint! They may not look impressive in pictures but all of them are made of thousands of tiny tiles. I just love it! A scene from the Nile River. This was in the dining room of a house. We may not be able to actually go on a road that leads to Damascus but I found a sign that pointed in the direction so I'm counting it! I got to walk through the bunkers on the border. Adventure is Out There. Wednesday, April 1, 2015. We spent half the day on the coast of the Mediterranean in Akko. Oh my goodness! I have never seen an ocean so blue! The day actually started at an old Crusader Castle. There was a lot of exploring, playing, oh and a little learning. The fortress had been turned into an interactive museum. It also had lots of shops where everything was made traditionally. There was leather, glass, soaps and medicines, and lots of other little shops.
