Friday, August 21, 2015. We had an ice cream party and slip and slide at our house for all the kids at church. We had huge tarps covered with baby shampoo and water, with a splash pool at the end. Saturday, June 13, 2015. Now that we have moved, we are much closer to Kevin's grandparents in Summerville. So we decided we were long overdue for a visit! Thursday, May 14, 2015. Our first weekend in Sumter we were invited to go to the strawberry patch with some of our new friends the Sutphens, and the Harpers. It was a great day to pick strawberries - nice and cool. (But a little windy! This was Lydia's first trip to the strawberry patch, but she caught on quickly, stuffing a juicy strawberry right in her mouth :). We took our strawberries home and I ended up making a yummy strawberry cobbler. This might have to be a new tradition! Life with The Snyders.

Thursday, July 31, 2014. The camera near water makes me nervous - but I managed to snap just a few pics during our visit to the pool last weekend. Makes me want to go back! Last week we had a fun play date with the Palmer's at the ENO. The kiddos love it there and they love to get in the water! There was lots of rock throwing. Sunday, January 23, 2011. I will begin by admitting that I have neglected my blog. I can only write something when I feel inspired and this week I got slapped with some inspiration. For Christmas this year my wonderful Dad gave me a new Bible with my name engraved on the front cover. Inside he wrote, "When I became a parent I asked my father why he didn't give me the instruction manual? I am always wondering why do bad and sad situations happen? Why doesn't God just make everything we go through easy?
