You were always the brilliant one yet so loving and so kind. It's hard to think that you are in heaven now and we can't see face to face. You will always be known as a sweet husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother that we all loved and adored. But the courts on high needed you more and they called you home. It's wonderful, isn't it?

Lots has happened over the summer, I spent two weeks in Utah enjoying the cooler weather, Jeff and I have traveled a bit and now we are just waiting for our next grandbaby to make her arrival! She should be here any day. I am training pretty hard for my 3day walk, which is coming up in the middle of November. I walked 36 miles last week and the mileage goes up each week until the big event! This is a great ca...

Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Here are just a few random pictures that span the past few months. Things are going great here! Our schedules seem busier these days, but they girls are doing great. McKinley's vocabulary is expanding daily and Aspen still cracks us up constantly! The girls on Sunday after church. I'm not sure why I try to separate the paint colors on the plate, it all ends up brown within a few minutes! Jacob playing in a band for a political rally for Kirk Adams. Your girls are so cute!

Friday, October 10, 2014. Before our trip to Whidbey Island to see Grandma and Grandpa Hanson, Bridgette wrote a "to do" list:. We managed to cross off her "to do" list, plus a whole lot more. Let's begin with the slugs! Bridgette's fascination with them has not wained at all. Grandma and Bridgette gardened together. At Bridgette's insistance, they made bouquets with flowers that Grandma had grown. We couldn't believe all the things in Grandma's garden that we could eat! We spun in circles at the park.

This girl doesn't go for the princess type costumes. That is not her style. She would much rather be a dragon with a tail and wings. Now That is Makenna! And if this Minnie Mouse lover didn't go as Minnie Mouse, well, it would have been an abomination. Love this sweet little babe! And I love that her sister wore this just a few years ago!
