http://wwu.livejournal.com/1377205.html
May 8th, 2011 11:56 am. Yay I got accepted to Western! Now, I NEED DORM ADVISE! I want to have fun next year. what dorms are best? 2011-05-08 07:23 pm (UTC). The exciting thing about Western is really, ALL THE DORMS are awesome in their own way. :) Congrats on your acceptance. I miss WWU! 2011-05-08 10:55 pm (UTC). Anything on North Campus. I lived in Higginson and could see the bay! However, it is more of a suite style. Edens South is great too, though it is 24 hour quiet dorm. You will love it here.

Tommorrow I have my first two finals. WHich means its going to be my last class for Period 1 -Photoshop and more importantly Period 2-Physics. THe Final doesn't really scare me. I should be studying but I"m just can't keep my mind set on studying anything. THinkning about school is depressing. I still don't understand whats going on with severson leaving? He never really gave us a clear reason for why he has to leave. What happens to teachers after they've taught for 30 years? I don't get it.

Interlocking Systems of Equality: Stops #4 and #5: NC – Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Campbell University

Interlocking Systems of Equality. Stuart's Big Adventure: 2010 Edition. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Stops #4 and #5: NC – Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Campbell University. The Equality Ride left Alabama and headed north on our zig-zagging route to Raleigh, North Carolina, where two schools awaited. We’re all sinners, but the Bible is very clear about this. How will you treat LGBTQ members of your future ministries? 8221; He had no answer. I felt defeated. Did you feel welcomed? So yes, we...

The Magic Sitar: September 2012
http://6078.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Contradiction, speculation and nothing but the blatant truth. 30 September, 2012. The Swimming Pool Gallery. Alan Hollinghurst once wrote a book about a library in a swimming pool. I don't remember a lot about the book, not even the metaphor, except that I liked it. I went to a museum of art in a swimming pool. Today The musee was pretty much the only thing open in Roubaix. It had a lot of 19th and 20th century sculpture, drawing and painting—even fabric and fashion. I walked to Roubaix, which is a largi...

The Magic Sitar: Playing the gender card
http://6078.blogspot.com/2012/10/playing-gender-card.html
Contradiction, speculation and nothing but the blatant truth. 21 October, 2012. Playing the gender card. You already know this is going to be about Julia Gillard, Tony Abbott, Alan Jones, gender, media and politics so I'm not going to blame you from clicking elsewhere. now. All right. Hello, the two of you who are left. So here's the situation as I understand it:. Leader of the Opposition Tony Abbott proposed a motion to remove Slipper based on his 'sexist' text. Also because this would supposedly gi...

The Magic Sitar: January 2011
http://6078.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Contradiction, speculation and nothing but the blatant truth. 30 January, 2011. I'm not a great fan of the early rise. Which is not to say that I hate mornings - rather, I'm not keen on afternoons but the timetable of the world I live in dictates that it's not convenient to sleep from 12 to 8pm every day and live through 8pm to noon. Due to an error involving a flight back from Brisbane the night before and a one-hour time difference, I missed my name on John Baldessari's Your Name in Lights. So I woke u...

The Magic Sitar: February 2011
http://6078.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Contradiction, speculation and nothing but the blatant truth. 21 February, 2011. I live in Artarmon, which is probably one of the most boring suburbs of Sydney (maybe after Croydon, which is where my boyfriend lives). The best thing about Artarmon is that because it is so boring it is also considered safe. It is also fairly affluent (although we do have a housing commission). This means property is like, a hobby. It is true that the block is very close to amenities, but 1 minutes' walk will only get you ...

The Magic Sitar: August 2011
http://6078.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Contradiction, speculation and nothing but the blatant truth. 10 August, 2011. You never lose it. A long time ago in another life I was a finalist for a fairly prestigious writing award, the Sydney Morning Herald Young Writer of the Year. It was 1997 and I had already had a good year, having come second in a Baulkham Hills Shire poetry competition. Incidentally, I met the winner Mark Bolotin several years later at a private creative open mic night called Magical Theatre held in a garage in Glebe, in Sydn...
