Windermere was born over 65 years ago with a single stylist’s chair in a small shop located in the heart of downtown Nassau. Originally named ‘Barbara’s Beauty Salon’ Windermere was named after its creator Barbara Brice Paton, known to all as ‘Bobby’. Bobby was fully trained in New York City and opened her first salon at 16 years old. Very quickly one shop grew into being 16 locations on three different islands!
