Woke up in at the Commercial Inn at St Just, 6 miles from Land’s End. . Quite a good day, expected it to be hard….along climb out of Kendall over Shap, and for Ian to reach Shap Village with a puncture in the front tyre….Pam kindly fixed the puncture while Ian ate lunch after eating her lunch earlier……continued on through to Carlisle with little problem, made good time. Drove to Bristol where we met at our Bristol night accommodation by the Severn Bridge, where Steve left his car with a few things in his car for the onward journey after our third night stop in Bristol. Arrived at our accommodation in St Just, 6 miles from Land’s End, at about 20:00. Enjoyed a good meal, a short walk before an early night. Comments feed for this article. A good start then.
