Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Yesterday my sister-in-law, Susan, took me to Little Rock for my appointment. They took my blood samples and the lab showed that the white blood count was too low. SOthat's where I am.at home.resting. And asking God to restore my strength day by day. And thanking Him for taking care of each step of this journey. Thanks so much for your prayers. It appears that fall has arrived and the weather has cooled down to such a comfortable temperature. This is truly my favorite time of year! Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Yesterday Tom and I went to see my oncologist in Little Rock. We got back the results from the scans on Friday and they were not so good. The new plan.(is this Plan C or D or T? What do you want me to do? I know at least part of His answer is to "not worry about tomorrow" but to live one day at a time. Wednesday, August 14, 2013. I went to the oncologist two days ago, Monday. My red blood counts were low.SO.she decided to have me sit out another week to try to get those numbers up. I didn't get chemo but we will try again next Monday. If my counts are not up, then I will get a blood transfusion, and then the chemo. This week I'm back to taking things slow and resting.
