A blend of Libraryland ideas, ideals and situations from Librarian Emily Chornomaz. March 19, 2010. Catching Up - Cuts to Libraries. Like I said yesterday, apologies for the extended absence. Have I lost all my followers? If not, how has everyone been holding up, especially with budget issues? The Board of Education is expecting an even bigger hit. In West Orange, the cuts mean a loss of $6 million in state aid, a nearly 64 percent cut. Let's hope for the best. Links to this post. Just noticed some bizar...

A blend of Libraryland ideas, ideals and situations from Librarian Emily Chornomaz. November 9, 2010. You many not have heard that Scholastic. Posts booktalks for a good deal of their YA/Teen books on their website. Awesome! The list of booktalks. Unfortunately is not all-inclusive. If you search for a particular book, like Lonely Hearts Club. By Elizabeth Eulberg, you can find additional booktalks. Not sure why they wouldn't add all of them to the big list, but if you look for 'em, you can find more.

The class spent a lot of time in a fruitful and amoebic (spread out everywhere) discussion on the massive question of how technology is changing education. One link I will share thus far - Ayiti, the cost of life. Designed by Global Kids.

Thanks for stopping by. Family is defined differently today. My passion is in the heart of your family. Regardless of your family structure (single-parent, blended, adopted, same-sex, no-kid-couples, bi-racial, traditional). You are a family. And every family deserves to have moments captured together. These are pictures of. So you should have them. Every session includes all digital files and rights to print at a location of your choice. The way it should be. Let's talk today! Okay, maybe not today.
