Monday, October 18, 2010. The Texas Rangers are in the American League Champioship Series with the New York Yankees, and I was given tickets for Game 1. So of course I called Christy and Rob so they could bring Jakob up for the game since Jakob. They pulled him out of school early, got off of work early and hauled butt up to Dallas on Friday night. Ryan's absence could be felt by everyone but we were BLESSED to be able to Skype with Ryan on Christmas Eve and on Christmas morning. It's amazing how far technology has come since my dad was in the Vietnam War. She was right. I LOVED it. I was nervous before every game but the rush is a blast! Monday, March 8, 2010. The Great Snow Fall of 2010. So, no one ever told me that it might actualy snow in Dallas. But it did snow in December a little.just enough to get excited about. Sunday, May 1, 2011. After months of training, the big day finally came. And we had the worst weather for our first time out of the gate! It was cold, windy and wet. Luckily there was no lightening so the race continued as planned. Despite the elements, I was feeling really good! Will I run again, yes. Will I do another half marathon? Not likely. Unless it's to raise money (I was the #2 fundraiser for this event) and I won't even consider it until next year. But 5k's and 10k's.no problem! Lisa De La Garza.

Monday, June 22, 2009. I know, so much time has passed, ,. Okay, well I told Lisa this would be a challenge for me! I started working again in March and I have been super, super, super busy! With Marcus's graduation, the graduation party, the paperwork and information in reference to college, I can go on and on. Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Whoop Whoop, Judson Rockets! Well, the twins and I went to our 1st Judson home game the other night. It was very exciting as always and even though we got our butts kicked, and got some rain we had a good time. The boys had fun with their cousins and friends, and enjoyed the nachos.
