Sunday, May 25, 2008. I Will Restore You the Years the Locust Have Stolen. I happened on the lesson tonight that Joel Osteen. Was sharing with his congregation. He is the minister at the largest church in Houston, I think it is called Lakeside Church, maybe Lakeshore. Anyway, his message was fascinating to me- he said some really inspiring things that I wanted to share. In the back of his car so he could sell his recipe. One of his venders. Thursday, October 2, 2008. Our New Little Landon. Answered Prayers for our baby boy. Well, September 2, 2008 changed our lives forever.here are a few photos Auntie Mel took at the hospital and shortly after we got to our hotel away from home. This is how Landon still sleeps.he's been talking to Uncle Skunky(That's Nathan). On the phone and I can't hear things like, "Tickets to the Gun Show."! How's this for a pose? Brandon received $3500 in scholarships which will make it so much easier to handle having two in college. I am very proud of him🙂 And his girlfriend of two years also graduated with high honors and has a presidential scholarship to Texas Tech! She is amazing too! Thank you God for my children. They are a gift straight from you!

But I went and walked about a mile down the road and back and felt much better then! LOL Since my parents live out in the country, it really was a nice walk. It was cold but sunny. It felt wonderful. When I refused to confess my sin, I was weak and miserable and groaned all day long. Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat. Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, "I will confess my rebellion to the Lord." And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

A Blog About Something. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. The race started on the steps of the Texas Capitol in Austin. I was there at 6 AM for the 7 am start. It was kind of like a dream as I warmed up in the dark for a race that I was sure I could finish but had no idea really how long it would take. My longest training run had been 6 miles. Just a quick update to celebrate the fact that I finally ran one mile without stopping! I knew it was a mental thing. Now to beat the delusion that I can’t run further than that! I have lost 85 pounds now. I was at 87, but Christmas happened and my mom is a really good cook😀 So I am working hard this week to try to get back on top of that. Posted in steps along my path.
