When I get around to it I will build the new panel, strip the painting from it's current panel, and stretch it around the new panel. I know it has been a while since my last post but I actually have a good excuse: I have been cranking out paintings for my November exhibition at Ghostprint Gallery in Richmond, VA. This first piece is a Christmas gift (from last year) for my girlfriend. It is a painting of the house she lived in when she moved to Richmond. This will not be in the show. Under the Bridge (study). The Work of Daniel Robbins. Friday, August 24, 2012. Here is a portrait commission I recently finished. I made the epic drive to Fort Lauderdale, Fl (from Virginia) to work with the model and develop the composition. This was by far the most intense process I have used for completing a commission, but I was quite happy with the final result. The first painting I painted from life.
