The process would start with an initial meeting or discussion with your requirements and ideas. Going over styles, colours and fabrics for me to produce some design ideas. If you wish to proceed with any designs, I will then take measurements, source fabrics/trims and produce a mock-up for a second meeting. At the second meeting we will finalise the style, colour and fabric. The mock-up will have any necessary alterations made to ensure it fits you perfectly and you are happy with your style.

Born in Wakefield West Yorkshire, Lisa Gilbert. I chose to do my BA Honours course at Huddersfield University as it had a lot to offer in terms of technical ability as well as creativity. I wanted to cover the whole spectrum of the fashion design process, as I believe a good designer needs to have an understanding in all the aspects of the design process from concept to finished garment.".
