Anyway, thought I would let you know about my recent experiences with moving house. So, we had 8 weeks now to either pull out of our sale or find somewhere else. Tuesday, January 31, 2006. At the risk of repeating myself, I love Spain! However, I do not like Bullfighting. How can it be called a sport? Just because I live in another country does not mean that I take on board all their beliefs and traditions. Sunday, March 05, 2006. It has been soooo windy here the past week or so. Driving round Bullas today, most of the green bins were in the middle of the roads on their sides and I even saw an armchair in the middle of one road? Both my boys had football matches today but they were both cancelled as it was too windy and there is loads of debris all over the place. Friday, April 07, 2006. I am in heaven! My local bar at the end of our road here in Spain has just started stocking Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Admittedly, he only has small tubs of Chunky Monkey flavour at the moment, but hopefully he may get other flavours soon. Friday, February 17, 2006. When we first got here, we could only speak a little Spanish (and I mean a little). Where we are, there are a lot of old people. One day, two old guys in the street started talking to me and my hubby. I was "si-ing" and "no-ing" for about 10 minutes. Hubby asked me what they were saying and I said (still smiling at the two old guys) "haven't got a soddin' clue just smile and look like you are really interested". O) Sehen werden wir uns allerdings erst nächstes Jahr, bis dahin, ich wünsch euch was. Sonntag, 22. November 2009. Mein Wochenende war grandios, ganz wie erwartet! Wir sind am Samstag Morgen früh losgefahren, nach Marahau, in den Abel Tasman Nationalpark und von dort aus gut drei Stunden mit dem Kajak bis in eine abgelegende Bucht, in der das Hauboot lag, in dem wir übernachtet haben. Zwischendurch gab es eine Morning Tea- und eine Lunchpause am Strand,Snacks und Kaffee inklusive! So lässt es sich leben.
