Catching the rays…. Even though we are nearly at spring here, today winter is having her last say, we didn’t get above 4C all day and at one point with wind chill it was -6.6C! Since I last posted I have been back to the UK for a very long overdue visit to see my family which was really fantastic but not so much for photography as the weather, considering it was the northern hemisphere summer, was diabolical! June 7, 2015. I took this image in the pine forest – it was very dark and as I ‘oohed and aahed’ at the fungi, I spotted this beautiful spider web catching the light in a shaft of sun. We are heading into late autumn here but this is an image I took during summer last February. Just after sunrise I spotted this spider repairing her web in beautiful light🙂 I hope everyone is well! Fog in the forest…. June 9, 2015. It is now officially winter down here in Oz and this last week was cold, dark and foggy (maximums of 6 C which for us is cold! I thought I would share an image of the new spring growth at work (taken just over a week ago), which is going at what seems like a rate of knots. This is from the block that has the longest rows – each is approximately 222 metres (242 yards) long – a lot of walking and far easier on a quad bike if you are in a hurry! May 3, 2015. Eventually I have got out to take some images🙂 It’s late autumn here now but very dry so there isn’t as much fungi as normal.
