Book of Mormon Kids. Saturday, April 24, 2010. Headed to the Promised Land. Lehi and his family had traveled thru the wilderness for a very long time. One day, God told Nephi to go up to the mountian. When Nephi had made it up in the mountian, God told him he wanted Nephi to build a ship. Nephi didn't know how to build a ship so God showed him how. Laman and Lemuel didn't want to help Nephi and said bad things about him. This was a bad idea! The boys made a picture of Nephi getting ore out of the rocks.
