Thursday, January 8, 2009. Here are some ideas i've had for the first assignment that will make use of all 6 of us-. A hand or a thumbs up, with the person as the thumb showing 2 thumbs up seems possible and unique. Or the Labour Statue. Maybe a representation of the 911 statue with the fireman holding up the flag-. I was thinking we could pose as individual famous statues side by side, such as the thinker. Or the lincoln memorial. Very entertaining group, hopefully they will help give us some ideas.

Sunday, March 1, 2009. Born 1940 in Monroe, Wisconsin. In 1962, he received his B.A. from the University of Washington in Seattle. He then attended graduate school at Yale University, where he received his MFA in 1964. Chuck uses a grid style art called photorealist painting. It is also called super-realism or hyper-realism. Chuck painted most of his works from photographs. His first one man show was in 1970. His first work was exhibited at the New York Museum of Modern Art in early 1973.
