Wednesday, 9 January 2013. Top 25 Cigars of 2012. With all the furore, excitement and debate surrounding Cigar Aficionado's. Top 25 Cigars of 2012 I decided to do my own list. Cigar Loving Doorman: March 2012
http://cigarnewbie1.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, 25 March 2012. So I got a rare day off in the middle of my usual 13 on - 1 off routine and it was thoroughly deserved after a tough but enjoyable St Patrick's Weekend. The Mrs let me lie in for a while but once she got bored of Dog the Bounty Hunter I was getting elbowed. So out of bed I got and jumped in the shower. Not long after we were on our way up to the Decent Cigar Emporium. During this time I took advantage by ordering a Diplomaticas No.3 of their menu. All cigars were provided b...So of...

http://cigarnewbie1.blogspot.com/2012/12/a-christmas-catch-up.html
Thursday, 27 December 2012. A Christmas Catch Up. A Merry Christmas to everyone and apologies for the lack of Blog posts. It has been crazy over here! I will give you a brief update starting where we left off, our return from Cuba. I met Hollywood for a long arranged post-Cuba cigar night. Cigars were smoked, cocktails were consumed and little did I know, I wouldn't have many more nights like that for a while. Next up was the Blog Awards. And Worth Doing Badly. Real names are omitted due to legal reasons!

Sunday, 22 July 2012. Pt2 of 2: Birthdays, Nenagh and No Cigars! Monday morning I awoke a little bit groggy. It was the Mrs' ACTUAL birthday and we were going down the country to spend a few days with her niece. The In-Laws were also spending Monday night with us so we all pilled in the van and made our way. Destination : Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. If you were to believe the song, Its a Long Way To Tipperary. Its not really! With new motorways and dual-carriageways, the journey is a little over two hours.

Cigar Loving Doorman: August 2012
http://cigarnewbie1.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 15 August 2012. The previous few weeks have been a countdown to Cuba for me, and the time has flown past. As I sit here and type, it is less than two days before I get on that plane. Since I last left off I have started an additional Blog that I solely created for Cigar reviews. I wont be writing for Cigar Aficionado anytime soon but I would like to think that I give a brief, concise review without all the garble you will find on this blog. You can find the new blog here! It was the first Mont...

Cigar Loving Doorman: Happy New Year!!
http://cigarnewbie1.blogspot.com/2013/01/happy-new-year.html
Sunday, 6 January 2013. January the 6th is called Little Christmas in Ireland. It is also the 12th Day of Christmas. On this day the Decorations come down as it is said to be bad luck to take them down earlier; It is traditionally the end of the school holidays for all the kids; Another tradition states that any food left over from Christmas Day should be thrown out today. It worries me that people would still be eating leftovers eleven days after it was cooked. It was back to the grindstone after that f...

Cigar Loving Doorman: Celebrate endings - for they precede new beginnings
http://cigarnewbie1.blogspot.com/2013/03/celebrate-endings-for-they-precede-new.html
Wednesday, 20 March 2013. Celebrate endings - for they precede new beginnings. I have not done a proper post in almost three months so it is about time I update you all, whether you like it or not. A lot has changed in my life in that space of time, most notably, I am no longer in the Security Business. David Weinbaum said "The Secret To A Rich Life Is To Have More Beginnings Than Endings". I may no longer be a Doorman but I am now a Godfather. My godchild was christened two weeks ago and I am not on...
