10. Sheepfarmer's Daughter (Deed of Paksenarrion, Book 1) by… - Kelly's Little World

Apr 21st, 2010. 10 Sheepfarmer's Daughter (Deed of Paksenarrion, Book 1) by Elizabeth Moon. This was a really good read. Paks was an awesome character, and I was amused by the way she rationalized some of the things that happened to her. The battle descriptions and stuff about her life as a mercenary were really well done, though the end seemed to drag a bit- the campaign to hunt down Siniava just went on, and the different sieges blurred a bit. 2 comments Leave a comment. 21. Dead and Gone by Charlaine Harris Wow. I really enjoyed this… - Kelly's Little World

Jul 22nd, 2010. 21 Dead and Gone by Charlaine Harris. Wow I really enjoyed this book (and want the final one in the series *now* but it's not available on PBS and I'm not buying new books til I finish the stack I got for my birthday). *But* I think Charlaine Harris has been taking lessons from Jim Butcher on how to abuse your characters. Any one or two of those things would make for great angst and drama, but all of it? At some point, you've just got to stop kicking the puppy. 2 comments Leave a comment.

Amy Knauer / Violet Coleson. Jul 22nd, 2006. I need to get a fencing icon. I'll use the star sapphire because I have one inlaid in my Poppinjay epee. I've been meaning to write about practice on Wednesday. There were only a few of us, so that meant we got more attention from Ian (less people = less distractions). Yay! And I have no idea what my feet did. Of course by that time we had an audience. That never helps. I think my self-conscienceness is my biggest problem. Grimalkin talking to me. I agree with...

Thursday Afternoon: - Ramblings from the Oaken Glen
http://oaken-glen.livejournal.com/221448.html
Ramblings from the Oaken Glen. Feb 10th, 2011 at 3:08 PM. I used to envision a field of wild flowers on a bright Spring day to help relax me. I now envision my C&P press. In my mind I can hear the sound of the machine working, feel the paper in my hands, and smell the ink. I can feel the rhythm of the machine and the treadle under my foot. It is a glorious feeling and it calms me right down. And then it'll be time to get to the really fun stuff. 10 comments Leave a comment. Feb 10th, 2011 09:50 pm (UTC).

http://oaken-glen.livejournal.com/217067.html
Ramblings from the Oaken Glen. Sep 26th, 2010 at 8:39 AM. Originally uploaded by Marion del Okes. Here's a teaser pic from Coronation yesterday. I think this is one of my favorite shots. However, while sorting through the pictures on the flash card, I noticed that I still haven't uploaded pictures from Pennsic yet. Whoops! And I are heading back to the site shortly. Once we're home again, I'll start sorting out the Pennsic pics and the Coronation pics. Promise. 23 comments Leave a comment. See, I happen ...

Food was not quite what I was thinking when I read "More gastronomical adventures". especially given the last post. but then I think my brain replaced gastronomical with gastrointestinal.
