Simon Dowd: May 2015
http://simondowd.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Brain reflux, relatively clean. Saturday, May 30, 2015. We are surrounded by stuff. We are given every reason to stop thinking. Why ask questions when everything is so immediate, and easy? Why is it acceptable for some obvious criminals, bankers at the moment, to walk as if nothing has happened, whilst peoples lives and dreams drown in their wake of gutless greed? Why are ideas reduced to nothing, whilst trying to please people who do not like when others do not live in their land of pretend? The odds of...

http://simondowd.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Brain reflux, relatively clean. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Its new years eve. I just realized its new years eve. What the fuck? 2015 tomorrow, right? Thursday, December 11, 2014. My results were a lot better than I was expecting. My lesions are taking a breather, and my brain isn't under attack. Goody. I then find out that I can still do the Tysabri, with my odds of the awful at 3 in 10,000. Cool. Monday, December 1, 2014. I just woke up in a basement. That's the past few weeks covered. It’s that time of year | Isn\'t that special
https://macgiver.wordpress.com/2007/04/20/its-that-time-of-year
Isn ’t that special. The mac is the ”Spork ” of the computer world. It’s that time of year. Tax time usually means that I remember how much I wanted to organize my finances last year. I’ve used a nice little application called iBank from IGG Software. It has suited most of my needs over the past year and is about half the price of Quicken for the Mac. A band-aid for the Finder | Isn\'t that special
https://macgiver.wordpress.com/2006/12/29/a-band-aid-for-the-finder
Isn ’t that special. The mac is the ”Spork ” of the computer world. A band-aid for the Finder. Yes, the Finder could be better. I think many of us are hoping that the next OS release brings tabbed finder views and a simple way to deal with moving and viewing files. But until that day comes, there is Pathfinder by Cocoatech. PF4) It’s been touted on 43Folders. A couple of times, here. These are the kind of features that only a dedicated and Apple Fanboy would think about including. I bet the developer...

Simon Dowd: Journeyed.
http://simondowd.blogspot.com/2015/07/journeyed.html
Brain reflux, relatively clean. Friday, July 24, 2015. The plane from England was crap, but the people working on it were great. its the bizarre balance BA strikes. A good flight back to Columbus yesterday, despite yogurt-geddon. I did decorate the floor of JFK with strawberry yogurt, much to the surprise of the lovely indian lady sitting opposite. My cry of "Fuck! The airport floor is wearing my yogurt," I said, and left with more napkins. I go through airports now using wheelchair assistance, having fi...

https://macgiver.wordpress.com/2006/11/12/adding-youtube-video-to-itunes
Isn ’t that special. The mac is the ”Spork ” of the computer world. Adding Youtube video to iTunes. Who doesn’t love Youtube (this month)? In fact some of the stuff I like so much that I want to keep it permanently on my computer. While there are applications out there like TubeSock. I think the way I do it provides more options. I start by grabbing the flash file from Youtube with the free application PodTube. This entry was posted on Sunday, November 12th, 2006 at 2:29 pm and is filed under Apple.
