People of the Whale by Linda Hogan | Lit Bit
https://litbit.wordpress.com/2010/12/11/people-of-the-whale-by-linda-hogan
Lit Bit Book Club. December 11, 2010. People of the Whale by Linda Hogan. 160; I realize I didn’t meet my initial goal of posting a review in November. Honestly, I tried. Multiple time in fact. I just couldn’t seem to get that particular review to write/read cohesively or intelligently. So I left it alone and plan on going back to it later. In the meantime I read another book by Linda Hogan so here’s the review for that:. And the writing style of People of the Whale. With an inherent starkness or nake...

Is No insanely risky wandering around at night, no dancing on the line at risk of getting caught or at least not with the threat of punishment that it usually holds – heck, Potter doesn’t even get in trouble after his bathroom brawl with Malfoy. And Dumbledore’s funeral. Oh, not to mention Harry breaking things off with Ginny. That small scene in the book t...Anoth...

Lit Bit Book Club. June 30, 2010. Laquo; Contact by Carl Sagan. Really dig the new theme (much easier to read) and the header really fits the vibe. Nice choices. On June 30, 2010. Glad you like it and that it’s easier to read! I really like it too. This theme makes me feel calm and happy. I figured it was about time I get some kind of bookish header going. Glad I remembered I had taken some pics on campus one day and that some statues held books.😀. On June 30, 2010. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

One Year of Opus. It is our choices, Harry, that show what we really are far more than our abilities. - Albus Dumbledore. Sunday, April 17, 2011. Well, first I called this post "Family" and then was struck by how boring that was.then struck by how much angst I have at BEING boring, or at least writing boring things.like post titles that say "Family".so then I made the conscious decision to try to not be boring. What happened? I came up with a good post title. Barely. Did I lose money at Roulette? On Thur...

All about the wallpaper. I must admit that about 90% of the time I take photos, I take them with the thought in mind of what would look best as my MacBook Pro, iPhone, and iPad’s wallpapers. This means I often shoot with a very narrow depth a field, and with the aim of lovely creamy backdrops to the limited objects in focus. I’ll post a few more that are my favorites in a day or two. I like a good amount of color in my wallpapers, but nothing too busy. On December 7, 2014 in Uncategorized. BTW, my mom wa...

One Year of Opus. It is our choices, Harry, that show what we really are far more than our abilities. - Albus Dumbledore. Wednesday, December 14, 2011. But I didn't. I feel a little sad to bring this blog to a close. But it really was all about having a year to be creative, and to appreciate, and then having that year turn into a year of being present with my mom while she spent months dying. I am still so thankful for that year. Gratitude month. Day three. Of course, my mom and dad. Even tho...Gratitude...

Because I haven’t updated in… Too long! Wedding continued →. My First Wedding…. So my niece’s mom got married this summer, and they asked me if I would be willing to be the photographer. I agreed as long as they understood that I was a total wedding photog n00b, and that I couldn’t guarantee a single picture would be usable! This was one of the most stressful things I have done in a loooong time! I was sweating in more ways than one! I’ll post a few more of the wedding photos in another post. Build a web...

One Year of Opus. It is our choices, Harry, that show what we really are far more than our abilities. - Albus Dumbledore. Monday, February 28, 2011. Love does not really = fascinate. But I am surely fascinated by this whole Charlie Sheen debacle. Okay, as perverse as this might be, I even slightly love it. I watched a 26 minute clip of Charlie railing at his boss, his dad and his naysayers. "Bi-winner" and "bitchin rock star from Mars" and "brain from a different terrestrial realm."? Based on a Novella.

Wednesday, April 2, 2008. Fiction Anemic's Review of "Where will you go.". Now, this is what I'm talking about.
