Everybody has a journey, everybody has a story, our journey and story starts and ends with our family and indeed it is a wonderful life. Monday, December 23, 2013. Read Our hospital stay first* * *. Will I ever feel normal again? Is she going to cry all night long? How will I get out of bed when I have so much pain? We arrived at my d...

Everybody has a journey, everybody has a story, our journey and story starts and ends with our family and indeed it is a wonderful life. Thursday, December 12, 2013. November to Remember part II. We were transferred to the delivery floor and there we met Merriam. We LOVED Merriam. She actually shares the same faith as we do which is VERY unusual, definitely not a coincidence she was our nurse that day. Was I ready for this? I have FEARED having a c-section. How painful would it be? Will I be awake? I cer...

It's A Wonderful Life: Our Hospital Stay
http://thecarterfamdamily.blogspot.com/2013/12/our-hospital-stay.html
Everybody has a journey, everybody has a story, our journey and story starts and ends with our family and indeed it is a wonderful life. Monday, December 23, 2013. My Dad flew back from meetings in the DC area that day (might I add he changed his flight to come home early) and my Mom and Dad came to the hospital while Kathy and Troy took the kids home. Kids are not allowed in the hospital during flu season so they didn't see Eve until Sunday. So that is what the big cast is on his hand. But a few minutes...

It's A Wonderful Life: Eve Bright Carter
http://thecarterfamdamily.blogspot.com/2013/12/eve-bright-carter.html
Everybody has a journey, everybody has a story, our journey and story starts and ends with our family and indeed it is a wonderful life. Sunday, December 15, 2013. Eve weighed in at 6 pounds 10 ounces and 20 inches long. She is my smallest baby but of course that would make sense because she was early! She currently weighs 8 pounds! This is my Grandma at my graduation April 2006 (I was pregnant with Hinckley). I loved this woman! He wants to know what she is saying and just loves to be with her. Its been...

It's A Wonderful Life: February 2014
http://thecarterfamdamily.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Everybody has a journey, everybody has a story, our journey and story starts and ends with our family and indeed it is a wonderful life. Friday, February 14, 2014. Post baby and accident. The next few days in fact in weeks after Eve was born and Troys motorocycle accident is a bit of a blur. We had tons of doctor appointments and adjustments to make. We really would not have made it without my wonderful in-laws and my parents. Kathy was my chauffeur and Don was Troys. You will see the school on the right.

It's A Wonderful Life: April 2014
http://thecarterfamdamily.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Everybody has a journey, everybody has a story, our journey and story starts and ends with our family and indeed it is a wonderful life. Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Stop, Look and Listen. I forgot to mention an experience that happened while I was looking for a homeless person. SO if you haven't already read about my birthday and then come back to this post. I have CPR training and first aid and I think I could be of good use to help hold a hand or 2 but I was not in a position to do so. Links to this post.

I’m able to get around with one crutch now, which is funny because I keep misplacing the other one throughout my apartment. Oh, and get this, I tied my shoe today! Just know the carpet friction is my saving ...

Friday, February 6, 2015. Every time I meet a new person, specifically of the male variety, there's one question that I always dread:. What do you do for fun? For whatever reason, this question gives me great anxiety because I have no idea how to answer it. I want to come off as this incredibly interesting person- unlike anyone you've ever met before! But that would all be a lie. That's all she (I? Aren't I so interesting and exotic and so very unlike anyone you've ever met? Anyway, I think he was intrig...

Literally and Figuratively
Choosing to Champion (Breaking the Posture of Comparison). Friday, June 24, 2016. Everyone is hanging out without me. No one likes me. These lies, and many more are one's I've heard plaguing my fellow sisters over and over again. Recently they've been louder and more prominent in those I run life with. In reality, I was missing THE thing. How did I get here? Why was I not able to tame these thoughts in my mind? It was a choice. All of these thoughts I had in my head I was allowing. As the words left my m...
