http://literallygeeking.blogspot.com/2012/08/aurora-final-part.html
A Journey Through Genre. Friday, 10 August 2012. Aurora - Final Part. As I ran towards the barn I had flashbacks of my life before any of this happened, time I spent with Joan and Jason when we were a normal family living in the suburbs. Things can change so fast without anticipation from a normal happy life to fighting for your life, future and maybe even the survival of your species. I climbed down the ladder onto a dusty gravel floor. The room was lit by a single lamp flickering in the undersized ...

A Journey Through Genre. Wednesday, 29 February 2012. Review: "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island". Ok, I'll admit it. I don't watch wrestling and when I saw Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in"'The Mummy" sequel, my thoughts were "whose this clown? Friday, 24 February 2012. I was unsure how the audience was meant to feel towards Georges.obviously he is a cad but that was where it ended. There was simply not enough of a plot to engage with these characters. Period dramas on the lives of the bourgeoisi...I have re...

http://literallygeeking.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
A Journey Through Genre. Tuesday, 27 March 2012. The plot moves at a fast pace, moving from one event to the next in a clever and original fashion and the script contains many humorous moments that made me smile. The quirky editing and the score along with some picturesque shots of Paris give Delicacy. Charm, however there is still not much to differentiate this from any other romantic comedy. A pleasant and pretty film, but essentially forgettable. 3/5. Thursday, 15 March 2012. We Bought a Zoo. Has a fa...

A Journey Through Genre. Friday, 21 December 2012. New Great Gatsby Trailer Arrives. A new trailer for Baz Luhrmann's. Watch for yourselves here:. Monday, 17 December 2012. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. I expected this to be a disappointment that could in no way live up to Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy, I was actually in a state of panic the night before the ‘main event’. However, on screen, this party is NOT long-winded. I only read one review before seeing the film (one of the more...

A Journey Through Genre. Friday, 13 July 2012. If The Cinema Had Laws. We have all been to the cinema, but in this technological advanced age where people live whole lives online, its getting more and more impossible to achieve that one simple aim - get a bunch of people to watch a movie without disturbing someone. We are there for the same reason - to immerse ourselves in the cinematic experience. Woe betide anyone who drags us back into reality. If your sitting there, open it before the movie starts.

A Journey Through Genre. Thursday, 23 August 2012. Hope Is the Real Key to Torture' - Nolan Rises. YOU REALLY THINK THIS IS GOING TO LAST? THERE'S A STORM COMING MR. WAYNE. YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS BETTER BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES, BECAUSE WHEN IT HITS YOU'RE ALL GOING TO WONDER HOW YOU EVER THOUGHT YOU COULD LIVE SO LARGE AND LEAVE SO LITTLE FOR THE REST OF US". However the first two films were so compelling that until the final hour of Rises I was feeling deeply underwhelmed by it. Some men aren't looking fo...
