Livin' on Love: August 2011

http://luisandvalerie.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, August 21, 2011. We are here in SLC, only 1/2 mile from temple square. We can even see Angel Moroni's little nose from our back door. Being walking distance to just about everything is GREAT! I have officially ended my first year of didactic craziness, and after a week off to move (and relax) I have already completed my first week of my clinical year. I am starting in my surgery rotation and I have already learned so much and the surgeon I follow is great at teaching me. My mom was such a trooper!

http://redshoesinok.blogspot.com/2010/07/fun-on-ship.html

Red Shoes in Oklahoma. It all started with a pair of shoes. Sunday, July 4, 2010. Fun on the Ship. Me attempting to win the ship's Karaoke contest: "Princess Popstar". Matt and me waiting in the Princess Theater for one of the shows to start. Matt and Sean in their twinner outfits waiting at the designated meeting spot. One of the fabulous desserts we ate - the sampling of all things dessert-like was my favorite aspect of the cruise. My favorite picture of Sean and Sarah - those crazy kids. Being a mom,.

http://redshoesinok.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Red Shoes in Oklahoma. It all started with a pair of shoes. Friday, January 8, 2010. Yea, yea.I know I am way behind. Our Christmas morning was fun. Santa splurged and get Emma and Lucy the kitchen Emma has been asking for. Along with the kitchen, Emma also got everything on her list: an umbrella, a pizza, and a tinkerbell thing. I love the picture of her with her umbrella (see below). You can just see the joy on her face when Santa listened and delivered! No, Emma - don't you remember what today is?

Mason Life: On the Threshold

http://jennyamason.blogspot.com/2012/11/on-threshold.html

Thursday, November 29, 2012. So today I had an experience that has made me ponder and contemplate the next few years of my life. I know most people when they get reflective tend to look at the past and maybe even wonder about the future. I however felt like I was looking right down the barrel at the path ahead, and what I realized was. So in review 1. I am a closet Trekkie 2. I am blissfully optimistic and 3. I am at JoAnn's. Mommy using big happy smiles and large arm movements: Push this button sweetie.

Livin' on Love: Cheers to Change- Journal entry for the past 2 years

http://luisandvalerie.blogspot.com/2012/08/cheers-to-change-journal-entry-for-past.html

Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Cheers to Change- Journal entry for the past 2 years. Okay, so where do I start? First off.I am GRADUATED and am now a PA! My first semester was by far the most difficult. I believe it was 20 credits (and that's graduate level credits). There was one professor I had that hated when students asked questions, which made it even harder on me, because that's how I learn! I knew more schooling would put Luis and I into much greater debt. He was happy too. So then we looked for housin...

Mason Life: We Turned 3

http://jennyamason.blogspot.com/2013/07/we-turned-3.html

Sunday, July 14, 2013. Being 2 was a blast, we were super cool. We had a great 2012 Cousin Camp with the Morris family in June, saw the spiral jetty. Went with Sonya and Maggie to the Tree House Museum and even had a back yard party with a Giant Slide. July we watched fire works in Kaysville with the Homers and had a fire burn pretty close to our neighborhood, and discovered GIANT pancakes with Ellie and Michelle at Herms. In August we visited Jackson Hole and Bear World, we even got to see the Bears eat.

Januar 18, 2015 · 7:10 pm. Karen Butler's Literally Yarn

Karen Butler's Literally Yarn. Tuesday, 2 September 2014. Field Study and a steeking adventure. The final Field Study. So Field Study has taken up most of my personal knitting time in recent weeks, and on Sunday I was able to have a steeking adventure. I haven't steeked many projects, but I actually enjoy the process. If you consider how knitting works, it doesn't have to be scary either. Taking away the fear of cutting your knitting. Ribbon covered steek on Hedgerow. Tuesday, 5 August 2014. Published ju...

Literally Yours Editing

I'm the editor, but it's your novel. Great stories don’t happen by accident. Like any craft, improvement comes from practice and feedback. An outside perspective can see where characters ring false or subplots have taken over the story. The goal of a developmental editor is to understand an author’s vision, ask the questions that will allow them to view the work differently, and give them the spark they need to finish their story. Developmental Editing: $0.017/word. Revision recommendations (2-4 pages).
