Much ado about nothing: 21st century charlotte temple!!!

http://jackieshirreffs.blogspot.com/2010/02/21st-century-charlotte-temple.html

Much ado about nothing. Sunday, February 28, 2010. 21st century charlotte temple! Charlotte ended up pregnat and having to drop out of high school. She was unable to get a good job and ended up living in poverty for the rest of her life. Ever since she met Montraville she was depressed and unhappy. March 1, 2010 at 2:56 PM. Also, I liked how you decided to make Charlotte’s father a social worker. Is that your major? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Learning in the Age of the Trigger Warning.

Munificent Words: March 2010

http://en227.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Thursday, March 25, 2010. Betsey Brown Post 7. One of my favorite things about reading Ntozake. 8230; once I went to a roadhouse and danced on a dime… me and that handsome Frank of mine.” Shange. Has a lot of inner rhyming and rhyming at the end of sentences. I really liked that part of the book because not only does Shange. Provide imagery but she also creates a melody with her choice of words. Wrote it, I could relate to it on many levels. Another ingenious use of words by Shange. Monday, March 22, 2010.

Much ado about nothing: My novel

http://jackieshirreffs.blogspot.com/2010/05/my-novel.html

Much ado about nothing. Tuesday, May 4, 2010. I have read many novels and some of them I liked, while others I did not. I would try to take aspects of the novels that I did like and try to incorporate them into my own novel. May 5, 2010 at 3:06 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Much ado about nothing. Thursday, April 29, 2010. Thus, I feel Junior is a very realistic character by the way he acts and voices his problems and by the experiences he has gone through. Much ado about nothing: Betsey

http://jackieshirreffs.blogspot.com/2010/03/betsey.html

Much ado about nothing. Friday, March 26, 2010. Betsey's began to form an attachment to nanny. She looked up to her and respected her. This nanny respected Betsey in return and did not put the responsibility of the whole house on her shoulders. This allowed Betsey to grow more mature. When the mother returned it was like she was stifling Betsey all over again. This is why I don't like Betsey's mother. March 29, 2010 at 6:23 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Munificent Words: Sherman Alexie

http://en227.blogspot.com/2010/04/sherman-alexie.html

Friday, April 23, 2010. The pictures were also another part of the book that I enjoyed. It is easy to forget how important pictures are to a book after I haven’t read a picture book in who knows how long. Like Arnold/Junior said everyone can understand what he is trying to say with drawing a picture as opposed to writing and I think the illustrator, Ellen Forney, did an exceptional job at it. Overall a great book and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! April 23, 2010 at 11:41 AM. Blog # 10 - Red.

Much ado about nothing: The Character Connection (Huck's review)

http://jackieshirreffs.blogspot.com/2010/03/ending-of-book-when-tom-sawyer-came.html

Much ado about nothing. Thursday, March 11, 2010. The Character Connection (Huck's review). If it had not been for the book being in Huck's point of view, his thoughts and feelings, I would not have made a personal connection with him. Without this connection I would not have felt protective over Huck nor made at Tom at the end of the book. This made me realize just how impressive Mark Twain's style of writing truly is. http://jackieshirreffs.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Much ado about nothing. Thursday, May 6, 2010. Most of the stories I read I felt that I could relate to. These stories were mostly extreme experience that each girl has had and while I can't say any of my stories are this extreme I still believe that I have been in some similar situations. I can relate to Country. And The two of us. The Two of Us. Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Learning in the Age of the Trigger Warning. What have I done? 8211; Rounding off 2016 and beginning 2017. January 12, 2017. January 12, 2017. 2016 wasn’t exactly the best year for many. I don’t think that needs much explaining. On home ground, far from the epicentre of global politics and celebrity culture, life didn’t exactly run as smoothly as I wished it would. On hindsight, that’s really alright. Who wants a life without hardship anyway? NB: Let’s keep up our delusions). I guess before I start looking at this year’s reading goals and wha...
