One Hand Typing: November 2006
http://onehandtyping.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
What happens when you have an infant and a long-denied desire to write? A lot of one hand(ed) typing. Monday, November 27, 2006. Tagged, and missing you all. I seem to have forgotten how to blog, which has led to anxiety- will you all forget me? Will I forget myself? If I don't blog, do I exist? My novel has ground to a halt, same as this blog, same as my morning pages. I long to move them all into motion again soon- my rocks up the hill of Nothing. 2 Your partner: busy. 3 Your hair: curly. 12 Your fear:...

My Sacred Life Project - zena musings
http://zenamoon.typepad.com/weblog/2007/08/my-sacred-life-.html
Creativity, Wisdom, Guts and Laziness. Laquo; Leaving Room for God. Thursday, August 23, 2007. My Sacred Life Project. I thought it might be helpful to post a simple entry explaining the My Sacred Life. Project, since it's sort of buried in the first post I mentioned it way at the bottom of a long - good, but long - post. And, since there are a bunch of us doing this (YAY! And linking to my blog, this is probably the best, clearest and most most succinct post to link to. So without further ado. Add third...

Hamguin's Hide-not: Helping by staying out of the way (My Sacred Life, Sunday)
http://hamguin-nohiding.blogspot.com/2010/08/helping-by-staying-out-of-way-my-sacred.html
Sunday, August 15, 2010. Helping by staying out of the way (My Sacred Life, Sunday). It has been a long time since I have written a formally acknowledged Sacred Life Sunday post. This morning, I reached a tipping point which inspired this. What can I possibly do about it all? My own path to peace- a path so short I can traverse it even as I type, and the keyboard will never be out of reach- is my way of helping. The level at which all of the perceived troubles of our existence will be solved is the level...

One Hand Typing: October 2006

What happens when you have an infant and a long-denied desire to write? A lot of one hand(ed) typing. Friday, October 27, 2006. Sunday Scribblings- Bedtime story- Geese and the girl. From http:/ www.greece.k12.ny.us/webworld2000/birds.htm. Why have you chosen me? She asked, a little afraid. On occasion this Master would amuse himself by creating impossible tasks for the members of his household watching in satisfaction when they failed and were turned out of the house. The girl did not want to lo...The n...

Hamguin's Hide-not: Four Word Self Help
http://hamguin-nohiding.blogspot.com/2010/09/four-word-self-help.html
Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Four Word Self Help. Patti Digh has taken an interesting idea and turned it into a delightfully rich little book. The concept: compile self-help directives which are exactly four words long. How much insight can be delivered in so few words? When I first heard about her intention, I tried myself to concoct four-word sentences which carried valuable insights into living a life. It's not easy to do! I had dived in for the first time a couple of days before and read many of the ...

Hamguin's Hide-not: About a month to go
http://hamguin-nohiding.blogspot.com/2010/09/about-month-to-go.html
Friday, September 3, 2010. About a month to go. Julia and I are moving to Raleigh, North Carolina in about a month. Of course, when you have a month to get ready to move from a house you have lived in for nearly 11 years, a house with a full basement and a family with a slight tendency toward accumulation of stuff, you need to stay busy with sorting (this goes with us, this is trash, this is.oh, look! And boxing for shipment or tossing into the trash/recycle/giveaway piles. Julia's new book which was rel...

Hamguin's Hide-not: Oh. Okay.
http://hamguin-nohiding.blogspot.com/2010/08/oh-okay.html
Friday, August 13, 2010. Anyone who pays even a little attention to current events has heard of the guy who, after getting bonked on the head by a piece of luggage and cursed by a passenger in violation of the "stay in your seats until told otherwise" edict, decided he had been abused enough and chose to exit by the inflated slide. Maybe it's just me. I'd rather sit down to share a bite or a beer with the guy on the right. Posted by Rick Hamrick. Pour a glass for me, too. August 13, 2010 at 7:39 AM.

Hamguin's Hide-not: My awesome weekend (My Sacred Life, Sunday)
http://hamguin-nohiding.blogspot.com/2008/09/my-awesome-weekend-my-sacred-life.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2008. My awesome weekend (My Sacred Life, Sunday). Last weekend, from Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon, I was most fortunate to be in residence at Bend of Ivy Lodge, a retreat center about 20 minutes north of Asheville, North Carolina. The photo you see is the view from the seat I always chose for each meal we ate together. See the sky between the slender trunks of the pine trees at the top of the ridge? You can see where I am going with this: it will take time, but we als...
