Pro pictures! | The Literary Bride

https://literarybride.wordpress.com/2010/06/04/pro-pictures

The walk down the aisle. Professional photos: My Attire. I have them in my hands and they are amazing. This was the one aspect of the day I was a little worried about. In case you missed this detail, we had no hydro at the church or at the reception hall and snow outside where we had planned to do all our photos. Not exactly ideal conditions for beautiful photography. But, our photographer, Corrie from C.L. Photography. No Responses Yet to “Pro pictures! Feed for this Entry. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

But I can’t stop smiling | The Literary Bride

https://literarybride.wordpress.com/2010/06/06/but-i-cant-stop-smiling

Professional photos: My Attire. But I can’t stop smiling. This image captures so much of the essence of the day. It’s imperfect. Do you see my hair falling out on the side there? But look at me smile. And look at him smile. While I remember the mess everything was, I also remember the feeling of being completely unable to stop smiling, of having every emotion bubbling up through my teeth. That alone made everything worth it. No Responses Yet to “But I can’t stop smiling”. Feed for this Entry.

Getting ready | The Literary Bride

https://literarybride.wordpress.com/2010/05/23/getting-ready

The walk down the aisle. Dressing for your own wedding is a four person job. Two to tie you in, one to thread, one to tighten. One to hand you your jewelry one piece at a time, and to help with the clasps. And you, holding everything up until it’s tight enough, not falling down. You, slipping into your beautiful red satin shoes. It was exciting, finally putting on the dress that hung for in my room at my parents’ house for a couple months. I could stop staring at this picture:. As I tranformed into this:.

The walk down the aisle | The Literary Bride

https://literarybride.wordpress.com/2010/05/25/the-walk-down-the-aisle

The walk down the aisle. Where the rest of the morning seemed to drag on and on, this part went like it didn’t happen at all. I remember struggling up the back stairs of the church in my huge dress, taking the last few by myself as I tried to stay out of sight until the moment I was to begin my walk to the front. I remember two thoughts. 8220;Dad’s walking too fast. We have to slow down.”. There he is. There he is.”. Photos courtesy of my aunt and uncle. Feed for this Entry. On May 27, 2010.

The only breakdown | The Literary Bride

https://literarybride.wordpress.com/2010/05/22/the-only-breakdown

Let’s get started. I thought I was going to be one of those people that didn’t let her wedding take over. I was going to try very very hard to get through the whole experience without letting it drag me down, without any tears except happy ones, without any fights, any yelling, any unreasonable requests. I was going to have fun with every single step. I think I was being unrealistic with myself. No Responses Yet to “The only breakdown”. Feed for this Entry. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

At 5:00 tonight, we drop by our lawyer’s office and pick up our keys. Our keys. I know this blog ended up a little neglected the last time M and I did something really big. A PotPourri of Recipes. The stylist’s chair. September 10, 2009 · 11:56 pm. Some of you may have noticed that I’ve been a little MIA for the past week. Most of you know why. For those of you who don’t, remember how I caught the bouquet at my cousin’s wedding last week? The weekend that followed is one of the best in my memory. We galavanted all over the city. Saw some amazing street artists. I tossed a dollar in his supply box as a thank you for letting me take his picture. World, I am ridiculously happy.

One Year Like No Other | Something More

A PotPourri of Recipes. So Close To Home. Now Is The Time →. May 9, 2011 · 10:48 am. One Year Like No Other. We moved to a different, much bigger city. I had some minor culture shock. I got a job. We got a puppy. I got a different job. I quit a job so I could take the different job. We bought a house. And then we bought some tulips for our back flower bed to commemorate a huge day, a happy day, a day full of sunshine. So very like the day 1 year ago. Just, not full of wind and snow and cold. Those gather...

Literary Brambles | A Literary Road Map

A Literary Road Map. This blog is nothing more than a place for me to share what I know about writing and the process of becoming a successful, published author (which I am not yet). This has been one hell of a learning experience for me and I think I have gleaned a lot of information and located several resources that will make the trip down Author Road a little less bumpy. That being said, welcome! I hope to make this site something that people like me can find extremely useful some day soon! You are c...
