Literary Indiscretions: Summer Day

http://literaryindiscretions.blogspot.com/2011/07/summer-day.html

Saturday, July 16, 2011. This is what I saw from my bathtub this morning. Big, beautiful, cumulus clouds that later brought us RAIN, BLESSED RAIN! Hubs is in New York for two weeks and I'm batching it. It took me a little while to get used to it, which I didn't expect because I pretty much live for the chance to be alone in my own house (which never happens), but I'm acclimating to it nicely, now. Yesterday I dug out this beginning of a quilt from 1981. The Sound of Music, Urban Cowboy. Say It Isnt Sew.

(By the way, I was trying to be funny at the last but I think he may have misinterpreted me. Whoops! Just a second while we connect you with a web advisor. You are not currently in a chat session. http://literaryindiscretions.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Noon on a Sunday. All Over. Everything. I mean it's 4 feet up on the wall, it's on the lampshade, its on the piece of shit house phone on the bedside table, it’s on the clock radio, it's on every electric cord and the entire power strip on the floor beside the bed, it's on all 3 pairs of glasses on the table, on every bottle and roll of toilet paper and kleenex box on the table. How quickly things turn to shit. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
