Sunday, July 22, 2012. Whoa, long time without a blog post. What have I been doing? I did some more bike racing. Didn't go too well, but it's cool. I went to Europe for two weeks with my dad. A week in Denmark, a week in Paris. It was indescribable. I can't possibly write a blog post about it, seriously. Maybe I'll post a couple pictures from time to time, but I wouldn't even know where to begin. That pretty much gets us caught up. So what am I blogging about then? How serious am I?

Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Rewind Part 2 - Cyclocross Nationals! I got a front row call up! We had one day off between races, and I opted for a short trainer ride to aid in recovery. Other than that I tried to relax as much as possible and stay warm and healthy. The forecast for Sunday was looking rather grim - predicted high of 21 degrees. Ouch. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Whoa, what a weekend. Yesterday I was just too knackered and scattered to put down my thoughts, but I think with the added rest and a chance to reflect I'll be able to do it justice. I dug, joined a group of 2-3 at one point who were fighting for 8th place. In the end I ended up 10th, despite almost face planting the final time through the barriers. I had a hard time believing it until I saw it printed in the results. My first UCI top 10! My first UCI point! Sufferface....

Monday, April 29, 2013. I've been telling this to anyone who will listen (and many who won't) but B.O.A.T. is an acronym for Bring On Another Thousand. Right. At any rate, Tri-oomph has been, well, maybe not exactly tri-oomph-ant (sorry, sorry) thus far. She's an old boat, things have to be replaced and maintained. We've been trying to get out for a good sail for the past three weekends, but haven't been quite able to get everything to come together for us. Anyway, rock'n'roll, the boat was launched!
