might I have a bit of blog?: December 2008
http://littlebitofblog.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Might I have a bit of blog? Gretchen's little bits of thought. Friday, December 05, 2008. To go to my current blog themommylane.blogspot.com. Follow the link. Thanks! Tuesday, December 02, 2008. Yesterday I visited my local Do It Center. And picked up an herb growing kit made by Ferry-Morse. The kit included basil, oregano, and parsley and I purchased a packet of mint because I couldn't have an herb garden with the tasty and aromatic mint! Now let's just hope they sprout! Monday, December 01, 2008. The H...

Might I have a bit of blog? Gretchen's little bits of thought. Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Here are some pics from our Halloween experience. Anders LOVED walking around and seeing all of the people. He didn't seem to bothered by the Scream masks or spooky looking pumpkins. The top picture is of James and Anders at Mommy and Me class yesterday. They got to try out their costumes before the big day. Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Quick post to plug the latest updated. Life Behind The Picket Fence". Sunday, Oc...

http://littlebitofblog.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Might I have a bit of blog? Gretchen's little bits of thought. Monday, January 28, 2008. Because of this I took Anders to the park and he ran and threw leaves and pine cones and the wind whipped his hair all around. He looked so rosy and happy it made me want to move somewhere cold just so that I could see that picture more often. I had a goose hiss at me. Did you know that Geese can hiss? Anyways, we're trying to get lots of energy out before more rain comes again. Which we are hoping for! House to play...

Might I have a bit of blog? Gretchen's little bits of thought. Friday, November 21, 2008. Here is an interesting article I found while googling. Tips from living through the Great Depression". . Said in a sing songy drama voice). I am not very used to inconvenience. 160;I figure that it will be a good opportunity to nurture my deeply buried survivalist instincts and maybe awaken a bit more creativity. . Hmmm maybe I'll hide some chickens on our patio and start weaving tunic style dresses out of hemp.

Might I have a bit of blog? Gretchen's little bits of thought. Monday, November 26, 2007. We left for Oxnard on Friday around noon after a relaxed lunch at Chick' fillet. We chose to take the PCH scenic route which ended up being about the same time wise as the freeway but prettier! Anders got to relax and sleep most of the way! Friday night we went out for a special dinner at the "Side Car Restaurant". Anders was a trooper and napped on the way. Anders was much loved as usual! Thursday, November 15, 2007.

http://hellokids.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Things posted here that may be of general interest to a select audience. Enjoy! Wednesday, February 27, 2008. I got word in January that the time period for me to finish the online classes I paid for expires at the end of April. At the time I was most of the way through Bible Study Methods, but totally bogged down in the tedious last two modules in which I had to do 30 assignments in the book of Ruth and the same in the book of James. but I got them finished. . Saturday, February 16, 2008. The most labor...

Musings in Mindanao: July 2008

Things posted here that may be of general interest to a select audience. Enjoy! Wednesday, July 30, 2008. If you peer closely at the sign in this picture, you will see why we opted to drive to see this small English village, rather than Bath, or some other, much more interesting spot in England. Can you read the fine print? The second name on the sign is 'Shackleford.'. And we turned onto this road. And found this old church, called 'Shackleford Church! The stonework of the building was really nice!

Things posted here that may be of general interest to a select audience. Enjoy! Friday, December 28, 2007. All is Calm, all is Bright. Well, it turned out to be just fine! So much for the panic! They all left about 5 pm. She didn't end up bringing Bebeng and family, since none of us were able to contact her. She arrived at the buss terminal at about quarter to nine in the evening, after having spent all of Christmas on the bus! It was so nice to see her! The girls gave us an owl made of sea shells. T...
Musings in Mindanao: Istanbul: The Underground Cistern
http://hellokids.blogspot.com/2008/10/istanbul-underground-cistern.html
Things posted here that may be of general interest to a select audience. Enjoy! Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Istanbul: The Underground Cistern. The first 'touristy' place we saw was the underground cisterns. These were a huge underground room, dark and damp, with walkways all around over water about 2-3 feet deep. This place was built during the height of Constantinople. It held something like 100 tonnes of water and provided running water for the palace and its surrounds. Now this was quite interesting!

Little Bit of a Lot of Things
Little Bit of a Lot of Things. Monday, February 1, 2010. Randy, Barbara, Sharla and Ralph. We've shared good times and sad times too. We went to dinner and then played games, then the men went to bed and Sharla and I stayed up half the night catching up. The next day we went to see the London Bridge in Lake Havasu, Az. Back in 1968 the city of Lake Havasu bought the bridge from London and had it shipped over in pieces and then put it back together. Randy didn't and wasn't. This a restaurant at Tortilla F...

little bit of amazing
Little bit of amazing. August 24, 2010. Never let ’em see you when you’re breaking. Never let ’em see you when you fall. That’s how we live and that’s how we try. Tell the world you’ve got it all together. Never let them see what’s underneath. Cover it up with a crooked smile. But it only lasts for a little while. There’s no such thing as perfect people. There’s no such thing as a perfect life. So come as you are, broken and scarred. Lift up your heart and be amazed. And be changed by a perfect God.
A Little Bit of Amy (in Your Life)
A Little Bit of Amy (in Your Life). Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Kind Words from Strangers. We woke to snow this morning! Just a small dusting but enough to get me excited about future snow and to make it feel a bit more like the Christmas season. I was a bit late heading to the gym because I wanted to avoid the morning rush hour and people trying to head to work, with snow on the road. Lady, you simply rock! YOU keep it up! So thank you, random gym lady! Thursday, December 1, 2011. Always nice when you ca...

Mehndi 💛💚 OOTD MOTD HOTD. A mehndi is a pre wedding ceremony which is also the first wedding event where both the bride and groom are present. Turmeric is applied to the brides face, and mehndi is applied to her hands and feet as well as on the guests. There’s music, dancing, and a couple of wedding rituals too. For my outfit, I wore a lehnga choli that my grandmother made for me. I accessorized with golden jhumkein and a matching necklace. I also wore green chooriyan. For my outfit, I wore this beige ...
